## What is Gezi Rehberi?

There's far more to Turkey than Istanbul. Gezi Rehberi finds the historic places around you — ancient cities, ruins, castles, museums, mosques, churches, caves, waterfalls, thermal springs — then builds the route that gets you there. Turkey only, but all of it: 81 provinces and 973 districts, searchable by name.

SEE WHAT'S AROUND YOU
Anywhere in Turkey, open the app to see the notable places near you, drawn from Wikipedia and Wikidata and sorted into 15 categories. Browse a clustered map, search any province or district, tap "Search this area", or ask by voice. Open a place for its photos and the article behind it, or hear it read aloud.

BUILD THE ROUTE, THEN GO
Pick 2 to 12 stops and the app works out a driving or walking route with Apple Maps directions — or start from one of 44 ready-made trails: Lycian, Hittite, Seljuk, Byzantine, Cappadocian underground. On the road: arrival alerts, off-route warning with rerouting, next-step guidance, a Lock Screen Live Activity. Hand off to your preferred maps app for turn-by-turn. Longer trip? Spread it across days — stops, legs, timings, lunch break on one screen — then add it to your calendar.

FILL IN YOUR OWN MAP
Check in as you go and watch your discovery map color in, province by province. Complete all 81 on the Province Conquest Map, count a whole province as visited in one tap, keep a streak, set a yearly goal. Of the 11 badges, three ask for more favorites, journal entries or routes than the free plan allows.

KEEP THE MEMORIES
Save photo entries with notes, encrypted on device, and lock the journal behind Face ID. Look back through Year in Review, collages and trip stories, then turn a year into a book: season chapters, contents page, double-page reading, print-ready PDF. A complete sample book in Turkish and English ships with the app — read one cover to cover first.

WHEN THE SIGNAL DROPS
Download place packages province by province — over Wi-Fi only, if you switch that on — and keep browsing what you saved. Map tiles and new discovery still need a connection, so this is not a full offline map.

FIXES
Place pages no longer drift sideways as they open. Nearby food and practical stops now load far from the big cities. Search results keep their cover images. Searching one province no longer pulls in places from the neighboring one, and coordinates were audited across more than nine hundred districts, with the wrong ones corrected. Place of the Day no longer picks an entry that has no article. Tap targets, spacing and alignment were reworked for every screen size.
