## What is GFIPTV?

GFIPTV is a media player for iPhone and iPad that lets you access content from your own authorised M3U or Xtream source.

• Watch live channels and browse movies and series supplied by your provider.
• Use a programme guide when XMLTV data is available.
• Keep favourites and resume supported on-demand content.
• Choose Arabic, English or your device language.
• Hide items and prepare content reports by email.
• Remove your source or delete all local app data from Settings.

GFIPTV does not include channels, playlists or subscriptions, and does not sell or host media. You must provide your own source and have permission to access its content. Availability, stream quality, programme information and supported playback formats depend on your provider and device.

Source credentials are stored in the device Keychain, and cached catalogues are encrypted. The app includes no advertising or analytics SDK.

## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.0.4 — 2026-09-19

Expanded playback compatibility for movies and series. Improved recognition of video files in M3U playlists, playback resume and end-of-video handling. The movie player now keeps its close button visible and makes playback controls easier to access. Includes CarPlay audio support and playback interface improvements.

### 1.0.2 — 2026-09-16

Updates the live channel player and playback session management, including audio interruption handling. Adds open-source license information in Settings.

### 1.0.1 — 2026-09-15

Fixes a black screen at launch with large saved playlists. Adds automatic retry after playback failures or prolonged buffering, preserves movie progress when reconnecting, and improves audio interruption handling. Refreshing the same source no longer stops ongoing playback.
