### 4/5 — Years later and it’s still a good app, still with room yet to grow

*2025-12-18, version 1.11.0*

I love this app; I’ve used it for years to keep track of my backlog and playthroughs, and make various lists ranking yearly and all time faves, complete franchises, and really anything else I want.

It has a good look, and the last major update from around a year ago really helped smooth navigation and different functions on the app.

My only gripe as someone has used the app regularly for three years, is that it’s not improving very fast, it’s lost momentum despite the list of “in progress” projects the devs have slated to be otw. I have been particularly yearning so long for a better way to track multiple playthroughs of the same game. Bring that to the base app (I’m not joining the beta testing) and I would give a full five stars.

No love lost on this great app, I look forward to seeing just how far it can go!

### 2/5 — Lacking due to user curation

*2025-12-03, version 1.11.0*

Whilst the app is mostly fine, I run into a lot of issues of poor management from what I assume is user curation. I’ve had games completely missing, games listed wrong due to repackages and collections and game info either wrong or outright missing

I’ve been using Backloggery for many years and while they don’t have an app, you won’t find a better way to catalogue your games. In comparison, this is incredibly lacking and a big disappointment. Doesn’t feel like it’s ever been updated with any sort of improvements or QoL fixes

### 3/5 — No purchase ?

*2025-11-02, version 1.11.0*

Where is lifetime subscription ? And common: at a decent price please ... 50€ / year 🤣

### 4/5 — Perfeito, menos pelo preço

*2025-09-09, version 1.11.0*

### 4/5 — Good app !

*2024-12-23, version 1.10.0*

Add the possibility to reply to the reviews please ! 🙏

### 4/5 — Ratings

*2024-11-27, version 1.10.0*

I wish if the ratings were out of 10 and not stars… itll be more accurate and just better

### 4/5 — Lots of potential

*2024-08-13, version 1.10.0*

Much like when I started to use Letterboxd early on, I think this app has a lot of potential. It was clearly inspired by Letterboxd and I’d like to see some future features that take from that experience to here.

Something I’d like to consider be implemented is selecting which platforms for the games you played. I would also like for there to be some kind of implementation of a stats like feature like Letterboxd does that recaps your year of playing games with different stats such as categories, playing time, etc.

I think there are some QOL things that can help boost the app as well. Sometimes things don’t load right and lists can be a bit cumbersome to put together.

All in all, lots of potential and I’m considered subscribing to receive any new features sooner. Wish the developers the best (from someone who has longed for this kind of app since Raptr shut down.)

### 3/5 — fine app but wish it’s come further along since it was first released

*2024-07-09, version 1.10.0*

sure would love if my reviews weren’t completely erased if I need to close the app for 5 seconds

like using this to log video games similar to how I I would in letterboxd, but just has a lot of glaring flaws with its UI and general flow. I hope it gets more support.

### 4/5 — Great

*2024-04-07, version 1.9.0*

I see a great future to this app if it continues to improve, keep up the good work!!!

### 3/5 — basic features behind a paywall now.

*2023-11-05, version 1.9.0*

Honestly not even worth my time now. I’ll just stick with the notes app in my phone.

### 3/5 — Definitely a bit messy atm but bright future!

*2023-08-18, version 1.9.0*

The UI could be streamlined, specifically on game pages. This app has a very promising roadmap and I’m really hoping this become the Letterboxd of video games

### 4/5 — iPad version

*2023-04-26, version 1.8.0*

I know there is no chance for iPad version because it seems like even iPhone version is dead but I’d be great to have iPad app too

### 2/5 — Website is 👍, app is not working

*2023-04-13, version 1.8.0*

Nothing is loading properly :( I can’t even view my profile

### 4/5 — Hoping this app turns into the one and only

*2023-03-14, version 1.8.0*

This app is cool at face value and it’s pretty convenient. I think it has potential to be the Comic Geek of gaming. But they should add support for library collection which would include allowing gamers to choose if they own to game and if they own it for multiple different systems and how much the games were purchased for and if you beat them for each system or shelved one.

I think they should look at Comic Geek and Serializd and Letterboxd and take inspiration. They have a cool road map which I didn’t finish looking over but there’s so much that could make this app one of the best to exist. Better than IGN playlist even. Also add half stars or point scales. Pleeeeease

### 4/5 — very good, could be better

*2023-02-23, version 1.8.0*

itd be really cool if we could comment on other people’s reviews. and, in my experience, ive noticed you cant use the app on mobile data. you have to be connected to wifi. fix those two things and its a 10/10 from me. i love seeing what everyone is playing and organizing my games by years and all that jazz. its very satisfying

### 2/5 — Used to be great….

*2023-02-13, version 1.8.0*

I was with this app from very early on. But once the subscription service was added, at $5 a month no less, it just wasn’t worth it. Like some have mentioned an initial purchase would be OK but that’s outrageous for a game catalog app.
Sad, because I’ve checked out other apps, and this is my favorite, but just not worth paying that much

### 2/5 — Crashing

*2023-01-26, version 1.8.0*

Keeps crashing

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Encore une app inutile sans abonnement hors de prix

*2023-05-28, version 1.9.0*

Inutilisable dorénavant sans prendre un abonnement (évidemment encore une fois à un tarif hors de propos pour une app du genre)

### 1/5 — Broken app unusable without paying

*2023-03-19, version 1.8.0*

You can’t add games to your wishlist without SUBSCRIBING. Tried to add a game to a list and it straight up does not work. Lazily made cash grab app.

### 1/5 — No functionality

*2022-12-30, version 1.8.0*

You can’t do anything without paying for premium, letterbox is free in every function.

### 1/5 — Very buggy

*2022-12-05, version 1.8.0*

1-star is being generous

### 1/5 — bugado

*2022-09-05, version 1.8.0*

o aplicativo ta todo esquisito, não carrega nada e nem da pra procurar nada…

### 1/5 — Needs Major Improvements

*2022-08-23, version 1.8.0*

Major features such as adding items to a wishlist or backlog are locked behind a way too expensive paywall. Searching functionality does not work correctly; items need to be sorted by relevancy. As compared to Letterboxd, adding items to a wishlist is free and their paid subscription service is much cheaper and provides better functionality.

However, I do like the play status distinction between just beating the story vs 100% completing the game.

### 1/5 — Price

*2022-05-20, version 1.8.0*

It’s super expensive

### 1/5 — Can’t create Account

*2022-04-27, version 1.8.0*

Really looked forward to checking this out but alas it won’t allow me to create a new account. Or more specifically I fill in my info, hit submit, and nothing happens. Tried reinstalling. Same issue. Doesn’t work.

### 1/5 — Fatal

*2022-04-27, version 1.8.0*

No he durado ni 5 minutos. Cualquier cosa que quieres hacer como añadir un juego a la lista de deseos te pide pagar, y encima no es que sea un precio razonable, sino un precio mensual/ anual por las nubes. Encima todo en inglés. Lo siento pero desinstalada queda

### 1/5 — Very unstable, please update

*2022-04-20, version 1.8.0*

This app is very unstable. I love it for keeping track of games but almost every time I use it it crashes or is very sluggish. Please fix!

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — great app

*2026-02-28, version 1.11.0*

I don’t know if there’s still a team working on this app, but I just wanted to let you all know that it’s easily the best log app for games out there. Simple, great UI. If anything, I would suggest improving indexation for the search system, but other than that it’s 10/10

### 5/5 — Great app for keeping track of games.

*2026-02-18, version 1.11.0*

Would be amazing if you could somehow get some integration with “howlongtobeat” (or an option to log time within gg) so we could see that whilst browsing games. Would also appreciate a “favourite” games section akin to letter boxed where anyone viewing your profile sees your top 4/5 right at the front. Perhaps a “games like this” section also. I have no idea how possible these are or aren’t, just what I think would be cool additions to an already great app.

EDIT: would also love an iPad version, but still love the app.

### 5/5 — Thank you for this app

*2025-06-13, version 1.11.0*

finally something that satisfies my autism when keeping lists lmao. pls don’t stop this app :)

### 5/5 — Years in the Making but worth the wait :)

*2025-03-01, version 1.10.0*

Love this app!! Works great and the solo developer seems committed to remaining ad free which is good!

### 5/5 — Great app, like Letterboxd for Games

*2024-08-16, version 1.10.0*

Good

### 5/5 — Nice app!

*2024-07-02, version 1.9.0*

the interface is pretty much perfect for this kind of thing but yeah bugs 🐛🪲

### 5/5 — <3

*2024-01-07, version 1.9.0*

love it!!!

### 5/5 — GG| is one of the best game tracker i ever used

*2022-07-22, version 1.8.0*

It is simple and light and the community is still growing day by day

### 5/5 — Great app

*2022-06-03, version 1.8.0*

Very accessible and easy to use. There are definitely some issues which can and should be improved on but it is always in development so

### 5/5 — Thank you!

*2022-03-06, version 1.8.0*

Great app :) really nice to see something like this. Very nice interface.

I’ve been having one bug where lists don’t work/can’t create. Apart from that, I understand this app is just one or a few people? So it’s impressively built.

The one suggestion I have: if you could include difficulty! I’d love to track which difficulty I completed a game on, because that can often inform the enjoyment of a game (certain games do better on hard). I know many games title difficulty as different things, so I’d settle for just a “Completed on ____ mode” input box where the user can type the name of the mode themselves.

Thanks for making this app!
