### 4/5 — Great game!

*2020-01-21*

I honestly really enjoyed this. I thought it was clever and a new take on hidden adventure with a storyline! Really well done. Thank you for making such a great game!

My only critique was that when it came to play the rest of the game the only option was a monthly payment plan. If it had been a straight up purchase to unlock the game I would’ve considered that route. But I can’t do a monthly plan for only one game.

### 5/5 — Pretty fun!

Totally enjoyed story

**Developer response:** Thank you :)

### 5/5 — Fantastic game

*2019-11-17*

Graphics are out of this world. Only thing I didn’t like was the hops as all included having to find items to utilise to get another item and I would get anxiety every time as I couldn’t find stuff lol. Great storyline. So immersive.

### 5/5 — Ghost Files 2: Memory of a Crime by LynxMinx

*2019-11-17*

Finally, we have a game where the sub-genre is crime as opposed to horror or fantasy! Brave Giant, this was a terrific game, and I (as well as others) would love to see more releases such as this one. This game had all the bells and whistles. The graphics were diverse, from gritty back alleys to a beautiful mansion. Collectibles included morphing smoking pipes, hats and floppy disks, as the time frame for this game was the 1980’s. Most of the HO scenes were word lists, and some were thematic. Others were silhouettes. If you didn’t want to play the HO scene, you could play a Monaco pairing game. There was a good variety of puzzles/mini-games, with enough diversity to suit every gamer. The games ranged from rotational types, to labyrinths, from decoding to lock picking. The gameplay was fast-paced and entertaining, and to aid you with your crime analyses, you were provided with a fingerprint kit and a forensics lab. Quality assurance was en pointe, a nice change of pace since all the developers seem to be having technical issues. This game was lengthy inclusive of the bonus adventure. I rarely rate a game with a full 5 stars, but this little gem of a game deserved it! Players, buy, play and enjoy!

**Developer response:** Many thanks! :)

### 1/5 — Hit a bug and unable to complete game

*2023-08-22, version 2.2.0*

Not one of the most interesting artifex games. Many hidden object games with little innovation on other puzzle games. Also sexist. ‘Every women has a shelf full of shoes’ 🙄. And now there’s a bug which means I can’t continue to play.

### 1/5 — Bug

Impossible de jouer. Fermeture de l’appli dès l’appui sur « jouer ».

### 1/5 — Not bad

Not bad, but have to subscribe to get further

### 1/5 — What the heck

*2020-01-24*

I would love to give this game a high rating, however, I am barely into it and it already glitched to where I cannot advance further. Am pretty angry about this since I do not usually pay so much for tablet games, but this one had looked promising.

### 2/5 — Bien mais

*2023-08-26*

Le jeu est bloqué sur un tableau je ne peux plus rien faire alors même que je l’ai acheté
Très déçue

### 2/5 — Fun but

Limited because you have to pay once you finish the first level you have to pay.

### 3/5 — Come on!!!!!!

*2020-01-19*

The actual game is good but if anyone is like me I enjoy a good bonus game. This bonus game is a total joke!!! I mean it took all of 5 min and it was over. I really expected more from AM. Disappointed!!!

### 4/5 — Enjoyable

### 5/5 — Ghost Files 2

*2021-08-20*

I love all the Artifax Mundi games that I have played, and will keep playing them. Like all the others, Ghost Files 2 had an interesting story. Great game play, not to easy, but not to hard either. You can actually enjoy it, without knocking your brains out! I love that the puzzles are unique to the game and the fact that you can get a hint or just skip a mini game, if it’s too hard. You don’t have to be a mathematician. I also love being able to find objects and use them to do something. Just wish they had some haunted story lines, as those are my favorites. Great job Artifax Mundi, keep up the good work, so I can keep enjoying your games!

### 5/5 — Excellent game

*2020-08-18, version 1.0.2*

I have thoroughly enjoyed playing this game. It’s slightly different to the normal hidden objects and playing as a detective was fun. It has good interactive play and the puzzles are varied.
Lots of collectibles and morphing objects to look out for as well.
Game was pretty long with a decent length bonus game.
I didn’t purchase the subscription but I may in future as I think it may save me a few pennies in the long run😊

### 5/5 — One of their best.

This is the best of AM games I’ve tried lately. Easily my favorite from them.

### 5/5 — Big fish

### 5/5 — Ghost Files 2

*2019-12-02*

Awesome graphics - best game I have played in a while !!!

**Developer response:** Thank you for your kind words! :)

### 5/5 — Really liked it

*2019-11-28*

This was altogether a really entertaining game. Artifex typically makes players run through a bunch of menial tasks that don’t move the story forward in any way. This game did not do that!

**Developer response:** Thank you :)

### 5/5 — A Good Old Murder Mystery!

*2019-11-23*

Embrace yourself for a riveting psychological thriller, as you, a private detective, wake up in an unfamiliar place, unaware of how and why you got there; and you are startled by the ghastly sight of a dead body slumped over nearby. From there on, it becomes a living nightmare for you. You must quickly find a way out to avoid being captured by the police who are blaming you for the murder. While the police are hot on your trail, you are forced to rely on yourself, trying to crack your own case and put together pieces of the puzzle as to how and why you became connected to the murder.

This game intelligently fuses together action-packed drama, refreshing character development, and intriguing gameplay. It's one of my favorite games this year. There are many reasons why:

This murder mystery-themed storyline is attention-grabbing, especially with its "wrongly accused victim on the run" main idea; and it's conveyed in a well-constructed narrative, as you frequently hear your own thoughts. The characters are well-evolved, and the dialogue is never boring. The characters exude lifelike personalities, which make them compelling; and I enjoyed playing a male detective with a tough-as-nails nature.

The settings remind me of Film Noir—think of "Adam Wolfe," if anyone's ever played that series—depicting realistically rendered gritty urban scenes, such as apartment blocks, back alleys, and messy offices concealing secret rooms. There's neither utopian-like fantasy worlds nor creepy mansions with evil entities flying at you. I am impressed by the outstanding background animations that spring to life upon touch.

The adventure portion of gameplay is spruced up a bit. With the aptitude of a true detective, you often utilize your handy forensics kit to collect evidence around places of interest and then compare and perform analysis, via mini-puzzles, to establish connections between the victims and the killer. All of the tasks had a sense of purpose, building upon each other in a logical way. There are no tedious fill-ins with the sole intention of extending gameplay. The HOSs are story-driven, with a good variation of creative, puzzle-like interactions. I enjoyed the one in which you press the hand that opens four panels, and you find and replace objects within each panel. Even finding multiples of an item are effected using clever manipulations. The puzzles demonstrate a nice assortment, with a few offering some challenge. I love the maze puzzle in which you get the key and escape in the car while avoiding being caught by security officers. The few sets of collectibles can be challenging to discover, and I love the indicator above the inventory bar to guide one along.

The game is free of technical flaws; transition is seamless. This game is like a perfect cocktail— it contains all of the components that satisfy my desires. Furthermore, the total playtime is lengthy enough to justify the purchase price. Great job, developers!

**Developer response:** Thank you very much! :)
