## What is Ghost Rails?

Something still runs the old lines after midnight. You are the driver: three rails, one ghost train, and a throttle lever under your thumb.

No timetable. Just the tunnel opening up ahead of you and a lever under your thumb.

Ghost Rails is an endless train runner built around one central choice: you set your own speed. Push the lever to 1.3x and every metre pays more. Pull it back to 0.8x and you will live longer, and score less. The risk dial is yours.

DRIVE IT, DO NOT JUST RUN
- Swipe left and right to change track
- Swipe up to HOP the raised junction over a hazard
- Swipe down to HUNKER under a low gantry
- Work the four-notch THROTTLE LEVER, 0.8x brake to 1.3x overdrive
- Charge the BOOST bar with coins, then spend it: five seconds of invulnerable dash
- Read it all off a live speedometer, in km/h or mph

THREE HAND-BUILT LINES
- NEON LINE - cyan arc-light and steel ribs, the industrial spine of the network
- BIO RIFT - an organic alien cavern, amber and slowly breathing
- DEEPFOREST - collapsed masonry, fallen logs, roots coming up through the rails

FIVE TRAINS, EACH WITH A NAME
THE REVENANT. BOREALIS. OLD IRONJAW. NOCTURNE. CINDERFELL. Every one modelled by hand with its own livery, parked in a cockpit hangar you run your fleet from.

POWER-UPS YOU CAN READ OFF THE TRACK
Magnet, shield, x2 score and slow-time sit on the rails as real objects. You see them coming and you decide whether it is worth lining up for them.
