## What is Ghostlane?

OBSERVE LIVE TRAFFIC

Ghostlane turns your iPhone into a portable traffic observation dashboard. Track vehicles through the camera, count crossings of a line you position, and review results in saved session reports.

Follow cars, motorcycles, bicycles, buses and trucks with tracking boxes and temporary IDs. View counts by category and direction while monitoring from a safe, stationary position.

COUNT WITHOUT CALIBRATION
Position your counting line, choose a direction and start a session. Counting works without setting up speed measurements.

EXPLORE SPEED ESTIMATES
Add road-plane calibration to estimate speeds in kilometres or miles per hour. Use measured dimensions where available - assumed dimensions produce approximate results.

ANALYSE SAVED FOOTAGE
Import a local video and analyse it using the recording's original timeline. Your original video stays unchanged.

SAVE VIDEO WITH TRACKING
Optionally record silent video with tracking boxes, labels and statistics. Recording is off by default. Play or share saved clips from your session report.

KEEP THE LOCATION AND RESULTS TOGETHER
Attach an optional filming location, review session history and charts, and export CSV reports for further analysis.

PROCESS ON YOUR IPHONE
Detection and tracking run on your device. Reports and optional recordings are stored locally. Map search and address lookup use Apple services and may require an internet connection.

IMPORTANT LIMITATIONS
Ghostlane provides speed estimates. Detections can be missed, tracks can be duplicated, and counts or speeds can be incorrect. Speed estimates depend on calibration, visibility, camera stability and scene geometry.

Ghostlane is not a certified speed-measurement, traffic-enforcement or safety system. Do not use it for enforcement, collision avoidance or other safety-critical decisions. Verify results independently, follow applicable recording and privacy requirements, and never operate the app while driving.
