### 3/5 — Crash

*2018-03-24, version 2.3*

This app kept crashing when I was trying to set it up for the first time. So frustrating!

### 3/5 — Useful, app needs to be fixed

*2018-02-01, version 2.3*

If you go Home -> Symptoms -> Add Symptoms, the GUI works fine.

If you go Log -> Symptoms -> Add Symptoms, the GUI page that loads doesn’t work.

Overall, it’s a great tracker and helped me when meeting with my GI about my Colitis Symptoms. When the doctor would ask how many BMs I have on average, I can only guess because I don’t think about it much. Logging it here helped a lot.

### 2/5 — Wish it would work

*2017-12-03, version 2.3*

Most of the required fields are frozen so you can’t add anything. The food portion was really all I could add.

### 3/5 — This frustrates me!

*2017-08-31, version 2.3*

I REALLY want to love this app bc I feel it could be so helpful to those who have IBD like myself, HOWEVER, I'm getting frustrated bc aside from day one, I have been able to add my symptoms or any other important info except the foods I've eaten. When I try to click on the drop down boxes nothing happens!! Like I said, day 1 I was able too, but Everest after it hadn't worked. It's like it's frozen or something. Super annoyed bc I was excited to use this app. So as of right now I've been writing a narrative of my symptoms in the life style tab as it does let me do that. I don't even think that's what it's intended use is for, but it's the only way I can keep track right now. I'm only giving it 3 stars bc I love the idea, other than that it would give it 1 star!! Please FIX!!!

### 2/5 — Just ok...

*2017-06-24, version 2.3*

It's ok. But it's difficult to add symptoms, diet and other things. Sometimes it just doesn't work at all. Needs to be streamlined somehow. Quite frustrating to try to try to add something and nothing happens, or it won't save.

### 2/5 — Concept is great but super buggy!

*2017-06-13, version 2.3*

If this app worked consistently it would be amazing!! However there are so many bugs it made the app really frustrating and just not worth it. If they refined it and got all the bugs out it would be my GO TO for recording everything. Until then I'll just stick to journaling.

### 2/5 — Awkward and has problems

*2016-09-16, version 2.3*

The navigation within be app is a little clunky, but my big issue is that I can't add symptoms from previous days that I forgot to log. Once I figured out how to do it, theoretically, the app wouldn't let me input any data on that screen. Also I tried to email my log to myself to test it and never received the email. This could be a very useful app if the the bugs are taken care of.

### 3/5 — Suggestion for update

*2016-02-25, version 2.3*

The app should include a notification option for medication, not based off email reminder. I don't check my email very much throughout the day and it would be easier to have a notification pop up on my phone at the time of the med reminder.

### 3/5 — Keeps crashing in iOS 9

*2015-09-19, version 2.2.0*

Developers PLEASE make this app compatible with iOS 9.
I use this app multiple times a day and now it's completely useless.

### 2/5 — Not as helpful as I'd hoped

*2015-04-24, version 2.1.0*

The treatment section of this app is of very little value to me. There is no ability to remove meds I'm no longer on, change dosages when needed or to record some meds I am taking because they're too far down the list & it doesn't scroll. Nor is there a way to record pain management.

Overall I don't find it to be of much benefit.

### 3/5 — Good app, but needs some work

*2015-01-09, version 2.1.0*

I like being able to track my symptoms---it gives me a good picture of when my "active" times are.

I tried tracking foods, but found it very cumbersome to type in every item (because most things I eat aren't already listed) and I couldn't mark how it made me feel, something I was hoping to be able to track so I can avoid any foods that cause issues.

Also, not being able to add symptoms that I forgot to record yesterday is a bit annoying.

### 3/5 — Having a few issues using this app.

*2014-11-08, version 2.1.0*

1) Can’t easily see food I’ve consumed list as a simple list when entering it in, I have to go to a different menu just to see if it was put in.

2) Can’t change my med list with ease. I can’t delete medicines I’m no longer on, on the “Treatment” section. Maybe have the option to type in date stopped. I also can’t update if my dosage has changed on a medication I still take.

3) I am on a medication that I take every 3 weeks and there’s no option to put as frequency “Every 3 weeks” there are only options for “Daily” “Weekly” and “Monthly” and I’m in the middle with no option to correctly put this particular med in. And I’m also on another medication every 6 weeks. Please fix to allow input as a custom frequency.

To be honest, this app is not easy to maneuver around when inputting data whether it’s new info or updating old info. I’d really like to start tracking my symptoms with my illness so that I can show my GI with ease. There has to be an easier way to update and share info to reference it later.

### 1/5 — Reports are not correct

*2014-09-21, version 2.0.1*

This app is worse than nothing. It syncs with the web site but then the averages and other data provided in the dashboard and reports are actually wrong! Was this app tested?

Just updated to iOS 8. I can't add symptoms any more.

### 1/5 — Disappointing App

*2014-09-08, version 2.0*

I was recently diagnosed with Ulcerative Colitis and was really excited that CCFA had created an app to track symptoms, treatments, etc. my excitement was short-lived as I found the app to be full of bugs and unusable for it's intended purpose. Had no problem entering data for Day 1, however when I went back in on Day 2 all the data on drug treatment, diet, symptoms, etc. was gone. I tried re-entering the data and the screen froze up. I also tried to use the report function to retrieve the data I entered without success. App should be taken off iTunes until the bugs are fixed.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Isn’t working

*2021-05-04, version 2.3*

I couldn’t even get past the sign up screen before it crashed

### 1/5 — Can't log symptoms. Doesn't work

*2017-06-06, version 2.3*

This app is not easy to use and half of the features don't work.

### 1/5 — Can't make it work

*2016-02-02, version 2.3*

I got started fine but if I have more than one bm (which of course I do!) it wouldn't let me log more than one. Very difficult to navigate, poor food choice list (does not compare to Fitness Pal), lack of instructions. Used it three days. Am deleting.

### 1/5 — Difficult

*2015-12-23, version 2.3*

I found this app so frustrating to navigate that after 3 days I have deleted it. Editing information is next to impossible, I could not access a method to remove a medication, or to add a snack or meal I had forgotten to include from a previous day. I would have liked to see some degree between feeling Fair and Very Well. Very frustrating.

### 1/5 — Your app won't even open

*2015-11-10, version 2.2.0*

There is a problem with your app. The main screen will show and instantly crash. It also hasn't been updated since May- that's 6 months! Please update and get your bugs resolved.

### 1/5 — Worthless in ios9.

*2015-11-05, version 2.2.0*

I've used it for years. Bugs and all. Now with ios9, boom. Zero function. It's not like the update was a surprise. But given the developers response to my 3 years of nagging. About a major login bug, I'm not surprised they missed the boat on this one. I wish I could give zero stars.

### 1/5 — Please fix!

*2015-10-14, version 2.2.0*

Please fix the app so it works with IOS 9! I recently went from mild to severe Crohn's within a two month period and I'd really like to use this again!!!!!

### 1/5 — Keeps Crashing

*2015-10-06, version 2.2.0*

I have iOS 9 and every time I touch the app it either freezes or shuts down may you please fix that.

### 1/5 — Will not open

*2015-09-21, version 2.2.0*

I have iOS 9 and the app will not open. Looks like good features from the App Store description but if it won't work, it is worthless.

### 1/5 — Not worth it

*2014-09-29, version 2.0.1*

Freezes up now so I can't even use it. Would be nice if it would sync with my fitness pal like Fitbit does. The food selection is poor. Feels like it takes up memory and nothing else. Does nothing. Doesn't really feel like it helps, but then a again the app feels like it's still in its infancy.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Works great now

*2015-11-17, version 2.3*

App works great and doesn't crash anymore!

### 5/5 — Good App

*2015-09-07, version 2.2.0*

So far, I have found this app very useful. Its best feature is the ease of entering symptoms, which is important due to the high frequency at which they occur. I also like the ability to enter and save custom foods, since the third-party USDA database is so limited.

I do, however, have some suggestions for improvement. It would be helpful to clarify the Urgency field with descriptions (e.g. Hurry vs. Immediate). It would also help to be able to record times with meals and medication. At least for me, changes in these variables are correlated with changes in the frequency of attacks. I have been recording this information in the 'Notes for Doctor' section as a workaround, but would like to be able to plot it against the attacks.

### 5/5 — Awesome

*2014-10-31, version 2.1.0*

I have used this app for over a year and have found it valuable. This app brought to my attention trends I did not notice.

### 5/5 — Great app

*2014-04-21, version 1.0*

I was just recently diagnosed with Crohn's disease and I have to say that this app was a godsend. It helps me keep track of when I eat or take my medications. The only suggestions I have is 1) foods, I'm still testing out the waters with what I can and cannot eat. It would be awesome if when we ate something that made our system flare, we could tag it so we could avoid it in the future or be more cautious. 2) I haven't started on my Humira yet, but just from reading other reviews, medication times should be more readily accessible or have a wider range.

### 5/5 — Five stars

*2013-02-07, version 1.0*

This app works really well. I wish it had a password though.

### 5/5 — I love it!

*2012-12-08, version 1.0*

I love this app! I love that it's put out by the Crohn's & Colitis Foundation because they know what we, Crohn's & Colitis suffers, go through and the app demonstrates that. I love that the app does not just track your BM (bowel movements) (or your ostomy output) but actually acknowledges that this disease effects your quality of life! This app has a "Lifestyle" section, where it asks how your IBD impacted your life today; did you have to leave an event early or did you arrive late; did you cancel an event all together because of your IBD?

I love that this app gives validation to all the ways Crohn's effects my life! It's no longer just me yelling into the wind!!

### 4/5 — App with GREAT potential...

*2016-05-10, version 2.3*

This app can play a critical role in being able to log meals, events and symptoms over time - which in turn make it easier to pinpoint our behavior patterns related to flares. What is lacking are ease of use features - one suggestion would be to create ways to "model" set meals. If we can make a common meal record that can be cloned/copied/edited more quickly. Right now I spend too much time micro-managing my diet logging (in the tool) to select 2 eggs, black-bean salsa, salmon and rice, etc. By allowing me to select items from my menu of items would be a huge benefit in time savings!

### 4/5 — Efficient

*2015-05-24, version 2.1.0*

This app will help streamline my GI visit. Two recommendations: (1) add Sleep (#of hours), due to research correlations between IBD and Sleep; (2) add Water Intake (# of oz), as dehydration is a symptom of IBD. I have a long list of medications and the app won't scroll down to the bottom for me to click the last medication as "missed" or "taken", so I often just mark "all taken", but this is not the case. In the IBD Community section the old Park Ave address is still listed, might want to update that :)! Thanks PPS for being an awesome team!!!!!

### 4/5 — Love the app but...

*2014-10-31, version 2.1.0*

I love everything about the app except the meals section. I found it difficult to log my meals into the app. The custom meals was frustrating and I couldn't get the hang of it. I recommend making it where the user types in what they are eating and then there are less complications. Also add how the meal made them feel. Otherwise it's a great app love it!

### 4/5 — Thanks for making this!

*2012-12-11, version 1.0*

It's so cool to have a tracker designed for my specific issues. Thank you!
