He talks a lot so it’s a good interaction with different characters. For something geared towards children, it needs a lot of work having conversations. I interjected to help guide it and offer it structure for their call and it explicitly denied me and directly contradicted me several times. You can add photos that are turned into cartoon characters if you children and are then added to stories . Kids love seeing themselves in the stories as cartoon characters. It would be good if their characters featured more but I’m sure this will come. Another brilliant feature is the ability to call characters. You must try this as kids can have a full conversation with the au characters and it’s quite incredible how well they engage. They can talk for hours, my grandson is learning so much about story telling and living it. Thanks for a great safe place. This was my first review now for my second: my grandson was extremely disappointed when I told him I couldn’t afford the all of a sudden price for what was supposed to be free . It sucks. My son loves it and it’s cute but not way worth the annual cost AND having to buy stars when they run out which happens quick! Who promised to have a dollhouse she had been wanting for some time - delivered to her house the next day!! SHE’S 6 years old! She still believes in the magic of Santa! She grilled Santa over and over about if he was being honest with her! The damage to this child’s hope and belief in magic was nearly destroyed!!! Me struggling to find work for two years had to find a way to make this expensive doll house appear on her front porch! So the app threatened a child’s heart and my financial stability! I don’t know how the creators are allowed to put something out there that’s harmful to children!!!!! **Developer response:** We hear you, and we're truly sorry, both for what this did to your granddaughter's trust in something she believes in, and for the strain it caused your family. It kept going backwards so that’s why I’m giving this one star let me know if this works for you. ### 1/5 — Meh… *2025-07-03* I can say I was excited to be disappointed. Kudos for your effort and dedication to it. I won’t be disrespectful to your hard work. It’s a great concept. I just think it’s need more creativity in the story telling. I used this myself before putting my child in it. I didn’t like how most of the stories generated for her were narrated by men. The story of the kids fighting over baking and the child looking at the grandmother sideways was a bit over the top for children. As a parent I can say there is a stage in a child’s life where they don’t need to learn anything about conflict. I applaud your efforts. I completely understand that apps cost money to develop and maintain, and I have no issue with companies moving to a subscription model. In fact, I was willing to pay $9.99 per month because I wanted to support an app that my son, who is on the spectrum, genuinely enjoyed. What I didn’t realize is that the subscription doesn’t appear to provide any meaningful benefit on its own. The only thing it seems to do is unlock the ability to purchase stars, which cannot be purchased without first paying for the subscription. In other words, you’re paying a monthly fee for the privilege of spending even more money. We’ve spent a considerable amount on stars, and to make matters worse, the app frequently glitches. We’ve had stars disappear after purchasing them, only to reopen the app later and find our balance back at zero. That means money was spent and the stars were simply gone. The subscription model feels unfair and misleading. I was happy to pay for premium access, but I expected the subscription itself to include some real value. Instead, it feels like an additional fee layered on top of ongoing in-app purchases. This app had the potential to be great, and it used to be. But between the subscription requirement, the constant need to purchase additional stars, and the glitches that cause purchased stars to disappear, I can no longer recommend it. **Developer response:** We hear you, and we're truly sorry, both for the frustration with a subscription that didn't feel like it delivered value, and for the stars that vanished after you paid for them.
