## What is Gibber?

Gibber helps beginner guitar players turn chord diagrams into muscle memory. Use your iPhone as a touch-friendly practice surface, place each finger on the fretboard, hear the chord, and build confidence before you pick up your guitar.

Start with beginner-friendly chords like Em, Am, C, G, and D. Gibber shows finger targets, muted strings, and clean strum guidance so practice feels visual and concrete.

Practice chord changes
Run focused switch tests to slow down, clean up, and track your chord changes over time.

Build song roadmaps
Save your own chord progressions in Songbook and practice moving from one chord to the next without hunting through notes.

Return to recent practice, review activity, and keep building from where you left off.

Gibber 1.2.6 is here with barre chords and song sharing!

- Barre Chords: F, B, Bm, Bb, F#m and other movable shapes now show the barre on the chord diagram and the fretboard, so you learn the shape and the order it is built in — barre first, then fingers.
- One-Touch Barre: Touch anywhere along the barre's fret row to hold the whole barre. Finger cues, the hand guide, teaching tips and switch test results are all barre-aware.
- Share Your Songs: Send a song from your Songbook to another device with AirDrop. Opening the file adds it straight to your Songbook.
- Clearer Unlocks: The unlock button now tells you which chord unlocks for 7 days, along with your full-song session.

Find chords faster. The new Find Chords Online button opens a guided search right inside the app. Copy the chords you want, tap "I copied it," and they drop straight into your songbook.

Clearer paste results. When a chord is shown as a simpler shape or skipped, the app now tells you exactly what changed, with a details view so nothing is a mystery.

The welcome tip now greets you by name.

New installs start on the warm Ivory Parlor theme.
