It was pretty basic, not complicated at all, and got the job done well. Until it had given me the screen “you have ran out of free saves!” Meaning I can’t even make them anymore. (And I had made like 5, because 4 were tests.) This is the most obnoxious thing I’ve ever seen really. They are now FORCING me to get premium in order to actually use the app. Just disappointed. 😕 ### 2/5 — Just wants your money *2020-10-28, version 2.1* Within the first 5 seconds of downloading this app it promoted there pro version of the app which costs money. This happens every time you try to do something. And when you exit it a add pops up. There’s not a lot you can do without the pro version. All in all I wouldn’t recommend this app unless you’re ready to spend money on pro. ### 3/5 — Where is the patch for this to work for iOS 14?! *2020-10-08, version 2.0* This hasn’t worked since the beta for iOS 14. I could understand that downloading the beta to my phone could screw this is up but iOS 14 public release has been out for a month now and still no fix. I can’t access any videos or saved gifs. Just pictures. ### 2/5 — It’s okay but... *2020-07-26, version 2.0* I will only give it a two starts out of five and this is why. I tried the free version and it was okay but the quality of the save gifs was terrible so decided to buy it for a month. However to my surprise the quality didn’t improve and they end up looking terrible and pixelated as the free version. I also wish you would have more fonts to choose from specially for people who are paying monthly. If you can fix those two in my opinion it would be a great app but I do agree the price is a bit high for what it does in that case I prefer to pay for photoshop and it’s the same price. ### 4/5 — Awesome!! But.. *2020-05-20, version 1.8* I saved a GIF from Safari but it wouldn’t play when I tried using it for my videos! So I got this! It was *SUPER HELPFUL* I have nothing negative to say about the quality! 🤗 But, after when I need one more I had, “run out of saves.” Could you give out a little more free saves? Thank You! 🙏🏻 As to thoughts who may have questions to why I did not take the free trial I’m not one to risk, *MY MONEY*.💰 ### 3/5 — It does the job *2020-05-16, version 1.8* It works fine, and I liked the options available, and the different ways to download. However in one aspect it is very limited. Once you pass (3) gifs downloaded, you have to pay to continue. Clearly I deleted it and will download different ones when needed. ### 2/5 — Disappointed! 👎 *2019-02-20, version 1.6* Although this app was very good at first, after making 2 gifs or so, it gave me pop-ups about getting a subscription. I had to buy that subscription in order to keep making GIFs! That is absurd! The pricing is also unbelievable! TIP: Uninstall this app if you’re getting the subscription ad after making 2 gifs or so. Then, reinstall it again so that it won’t charge you. You can keep making gifs like this although you have to keep uninstalling it! ### 2/5 — Ehhh, it’s okay I guess *2018-11-06, version 1.5* The GIF I created a bit choppy to be quite frank. The jumps between speed options that you can adjust are TOO far in my opinion. For example, 2.5 was still way to slow but the fastest option, 3.0, was waaaaay too fast. Without a middle ground, you can’t create a steady, clean GIF. If you want a somewhat clear GIF, I guess it works well enough. But if you want it to look legit, try another app. ### 2/5 — Not Meeting Expectations *2018-11-04, version 1.5* The “gif” quality was very choppy like time lapse videos. Adjusting the speed did not help. The features in the trial were nothing extraordinary, very simple but easy to use. The downfall to it, in my opinion, is that unless you pay up after a few gifs you won’t be sharing what you make anymore. I would like an app that allows the basics but gives you the option to pay for the premium features rather than forcing you to pay to even use the basics. The trial run was not impressive enough to make me consider $9.99 a month. I will be looking elsewhere. ### 3/5 — Eh... *2018-09-07, version 1.4.2* I agree with SpiderGangsta’s write-up. The GIF speeds available seem too extremely too slow or fast. I also had issues with the app crashing when trying to use the video option. I stopped using the app shortly after experiencing the crashes and unexpected GIF speeds, but forgot that my free trial was expired so I paid for two months of this app that I didn’t use. ### 2/5 — It’s ok *2018-07-27, version 1.4.2* There’s way too big of a difference between the 2.5 speed and the 3.0 speed (It’s more like 2.5 and 6.0) and the 3.0 speed is pretty useless, unless you want a fast blobbed gif. When it does work, (sometimes the app likes to exit when I try to upload an video) it leaves a random white or black line on one of the edges. Plus it used to give you the option of downloading a video or a gif and now it doesn't (?). I like the effect when it does work but overall it could be way better. Also a lot of the 4 star reviews seem fake. ### 3/5 — You have to subscribe first but then the app crashes... *2018-07-25, version 1.4.2* I just wasted five minutes downloading the app and realized in order to make a GIF I need to subscribe the app at 9.99 USD so I can try the 3 day free trail. I thought sure why not but the app crashed immediately after I subscribed it. Seriously! I could literally go online and do this for free so STOP with the payment! I really hope you fix it! I mean maybe you could make it so we have to pay for no adds or something! No wait don’t do that cus then you’ll just add an excessive amount of adds! My ears are smoking just writing this review! So… to sum it up I HATE THIS APP, PLEEEAAASE DONT DOWNLOAD! 🤬 ### 1/5 — Eh, could be better *2021-04-04, version 2.2* Honestly, it makes gifs are everything, and the speed dial is o k to say the least, but honestly the biggest issue for me is that you can only enter 5 photos into the gif and then it immediately sends you over to a purchase screen where you have to purchase something to even add more photos to the gif. And then right after you leave the purchase ad, it sends you straight into an ad, this is honestly annoying. I could go and download some other gif app and add more frames than this and get the exact outcome with no purchases. ### 1/5 — Unusable in free mode... LESS usable when paid? *2020-08-26, version 2.0* I just tried this app based on high ratings, but gave up trying the free version when it forced the uncropped original version of an already-cropped video without any cropping options. Then I did a trial of the paid version... completely different interface and options, and probably the most basic font option for meme making (Impact) is in the free version but not the paid version, which seems to only have “quirky” font options? Very disappointing user experience. ### 1/5 — Can’t use it. *2020-08-05, version 2.0* Nothing works if you don’t get the pro. Look I understand you need to make money somehow, but if you don’t even let your costumers test out your product or show them what your product does, they why would they even buy it? But there’s also a line between having a pro feature and having adds pay for you. I’m no expert on how adds work or anything like that, but I’m pretty sure most apps have a free version where the adds make the money to make the app free and then if you want, you can upgrade to pro. However you do both at the exact same time, not to mention the only button that actually works like it should is the “skip” button. That’s my thoughts on this. ### 1/5 — Only one free gif save!! 😡😡 *2020-03-31, version 1.8* This app started out really promising. It was really easy to use, and it offered a simple way to make high quality gifs for me to send to my friends. I made my first gif on this app a few days ago, and it was easy. The download was quick, and the quality was great. I decided to make a second one, and it told me I was out of free saves and I would have to subscribe (and pay money) to save more. So you’re telling me I only get ONE free gif, and then I have to pay??????? Totally ridiculous, and a shame since this was such a good app at the beginning. 😤😡 ### 1/5 — Recent update basically killed it. *2019-11-23, version 1.7* Every gif the app produces now has ugly black and transparent bars on the left and right, as well as constant ads and reminders to subscribe to premium that slow down the process of making a gif. Used to be my go-to, now I’m looking elsewhere. Good filters, good tools for speed, though the way it handles tiny gifs by putting them in a black box was always hideous to look at. Just a shame every gif it makes now has that ugly box. ### 1/5 — Buggy and limits number of gifs you can create *2019-04-26, version 1.6* I made my gif and it looked good and when I saved it, the gif image rotated in the middle of the gif? So it was upside down for a second in the middle of the gif. I thought maybe something had gone wrong so I went back and did the process again, saved it, STILL partly upside down. I tried a third time and was hit with the “You have no more free saves” message. So this was absolutely useless to me. ### 1/5 — This app is 👎 *2019-04-13, version 1.6* I though that this was gonna be a good app where you don’t need a membership or something. So I did 1 gif a little bit ago, and when I wanted to do another, it was all perfect and ready but then when I pressed the save to photos button it said that I used up my only free save to save it, I need to get a membership. I instantly deleted this app, and deleted my 37 photos i took to make my gif. If anyone wants this app, just remember its a big scam. 👎 ### 1/5 — Giving my itune account issue ... Subscription cancelation ! *2018-07-29, version 1.4.2* Hi , My bank just called to check on your app subcription purchase ...Like a few people in the reviews . I didn't purchase the subscription and already canceled it ....but still have been charged , the payment didn't go through and rejected by the bank . It now cause my card issue on itune as it still trying to charge my account ... Hope you guys reserve the charge cause I didn't purchase . Zero stars! *2018-07-19, version 1.4.2* I downloaded this app using my fingerprint as the OK to ”Purchase” the Free app. I opened the app and clicked on “Start making Gifs” which brought up another fingerprint purchase screen in the app. This screen said one month free trial then $9.99/ Mo after that. I tried taking a screens shot as I was going to email the Dev about this horrible practice as well as send to Apple. Well in taking the screenshot it OK’d the purchase and I was on the hook for the $9.99/ Mo. Even if I had only tried to get out of that screen I would’ve had to push the Home button.
