• Barcode scanning
• Custom foods, custom meals and saved meals
• Calorie goal computed from your metabolism (BMR + TDEE)
• Calories burned in workouts go back into the day's budget
• Water and supplement tracking

WORKOUT

• Progression coach: it suggests loads and reps session after session, and works out on its own when it is time to deload
• Weekly volume review, muscle by muscle
• Live session with rest timer and notifications
• Session history, stats and estimated 1RM
• Routine generator: pick muscle groups, a goal and how many sessions
• Import history and routines from Hevy and Strong

EXERCISE CATALOG

• Filter by 15 muscle groups

FUNCTIONAL & TIMERS

YOUR GYM WITH YOU
• Scan your gym's QR once: you are connected
• Routines arrive on their own, and your workouts go back to your trainer
• End-to-end encrypted: the server cannot read them, and you choose what to share

AND THE PC PROGRAM
• Coached by a trainer? They use GiFit Trainer, and it costs them nothing
• Training alone? The same Windows program: write routines and cycles on your PC, they land on your iPhone

REAL PRIVACY
• No account, no ads, no tracking, no analytics
• Your food diary never leaves the iPhone
• The app uses the network in three cases only, all of them your decision: purchase and restore through the App Store, syncing with your gym if you connect one, and downloading a food catalog if you ask for one. Do none of the three and the app makes no network call at all
• Back up and export to a .zip file that stays yours

GIFIT PRO SUBSCRIPTION
• Monthly,. Yearly. The price in your local currency is shown on the purchase screen before you pay
• What it adds: unlimited routines and cycles, the coach on every exercise, the weekly volume review, your whole training history, the food diary and body charts with no window, unlimited circuits, the link with your gym and the PC program
• Payment is charged to your Apple Account when you confirm the purchase
• It renews automatically at the same price at the end of each period, unless cancelled at least 24 hours before it ends
• You can manage or cancel it at any time in your Apple Account settings: cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you already paid for
• Bought GiFit before it became a subscription? It stays yours: tap Restore purchases

FREE, AND IT STAYS FREE
Not a timed trial: it never expires, never asks for a card and never turns itself into a paid plan. Log as many workouts as you like, with no cap on the number, with your routines, every timer, the exercise videos and food search. The coach follows three exercises per routine; with Pro, every one.

## Version history (last 5 releases)

### 1.0.9 — 2026-08-26

• Advanced techniques on the exercises of your routines: drop sets, rest-pause and myo-reps. You set them from the exercise menu, on the last working set or on all of them, and each one explains itself on the spot with an example worked out on your own load.
• In the session the set opens into its steps, with the right rest between them: none at all after a drop set, the seconds you chose between the bursts of a rest-pause. To the coach it stays one set taken to failure: it keeps proposing loads and back-offs, and the weekly volume does not inflate.
• Generated routines keep to the minutes you set: duration follows the reps and the rest they prescribe, and the weekly summary counts the sets the sessions actually contain.
• The diary shows “of which sugars” and “of which saturates” under carbohydrates and fat, along with how many of the day's foods carry no value.
• Advanced techniques are part of GiFit Pro.

### 1.0.8 — 2026-08-23

• The free version no longer caps you at five workouts: log as many as you like, for good. And routines go from two to three.
• In exchange, on the free version the coach follows the first three exercises of the routine you are training, and history shows the last 90 days. Nothing is deleted: Pro brings it all back, and a backup always exports everything.
• The weekly volume review and auto-calibration are now Pro.
• The purchase screen claimed the annual plan costs less than seven months of the monthly one. In almost every country it does not, so the line is gone.
• The review prompt no longer reaches people who have not trained yet.
• iOS 16 is now required. On iPhone 6s, 7 and the first SE the last compatible version stays installed.

### 1.0.7 — 2026-08-22

• Food catalogues for the United States and Brazil: pick yours in Settings → Food catalogs. Barcode scanning now recognises American products too.
• The first screens are now a guide: how to start in three steps, and the two coaches — the automatic one inside the app and your trainer, who works from the PC program.
• "Finish workout" has to be held for two seconds, with the countdown inside the button: a stray tap no longer ends a session halfway through.
• From your history you can merge two workouts from the same routine: durations and calories add up, and if an exercise is in both, you choose which version to keep.
• Layout fixed on smaller iPhones.

### 1.0.6 — 2026-08-18

• If your subscription lapses, the routines you built stay yours: you keep training, weighing in and editing them with no limits.
• The base version's limits are now stated before you act: importing from Hevy or Strong you choose which routines to keep, and the generator says how many you can create.
• Hevy and Strong import: supersets and exercise notes are no longer dropped, and more exercises are matched automatically.
• First launch: a Next button on every step, so the language is confirmed rather than changed by a single tap.
• After restoring a backup the app tells you to close and reopen it so your data loads.
• Fixes: the rate-the-app button opens the App Store, the gym athlete list shows past the fiftieth, and each food catalogue has its own download state.

### 1.0.5 — 2026-08-11

Food catalogs per country, downloaded only if you want them: Italy, Germany, Spain,
United Kingdom. The app takes up far less space.
        • Five languages: interface, exercise names and technique instructions in English,
           Italian, German, Spanish and Portuguese.
        • Weekly volume review, muscle by muscle.
        • Fixes: exercise names now follow your chosen language everywhere.
