So now I know who’s exchanging with who. Was hoping it be a surprise- that’s why I downloaded the app. Otherwise I could have the drawn names myself. **Developer response:** Gift Exchange Lite is the free version which uses the native iOS send method to send the notifications. The send mail screen will show for each message. You may be able to cover part of the screen as you send each notification so you do not see the names drawn. ### 1/5 — No match *2014-12-17* Received email but my match is: BLANK Doesn't work ### 2/5 — Needs work *2017-11-25, version 1.0.9* It would be nice to reuse the previous year’s list, so the same person isn’t picked on consecutive years. That way you wouldn’t have to re-enter the same names again. Or... if you could rename the previous list. I have a list named Christmas 2016 but I couldn’t change the name to 2017. If I had started a new list I would have needed to start from scratch. Interface isn’t intuitive and looks pretty amateur. Would buy the full version if these changes were made since it’s a great idea. **Developer response:** When you create your list it is best to not include the year in the name of the list. The year will automatically be inserted in the occurrence name. When you have completed your exchange the option to “copy for next exchange” is available to copy the list for a new occurrence. You can still add or remove participants before drawing names again. ### 2/5 — needs to be clearer about capabilities *2014-11-27* The help documents make reference to things this app doesn't do but the app description claims to do. As someone who has never used this app before, it was very confusing. It should be more clear about what the capabilities are that separate the lite version from the paid version. I'm not convinced I'll be ponying up any cash based on what I've seen because I'm not exactly sure what I'd be getting. ### 3/5 — Works, but... *2020-11-22* This app works, but it is so confusing. I’ve actually used it it for several years now, and every year it takes me about 15 minutes to figure out what I’m supposed to do. That being said: it does work! ### 3/5 — Number of people *2017-11-08* I used this app last year and liked it but this year I need to pay $7 to use a supposed upgrade it because now It is limited to 7 people not eight. 😕 **Developer response:** Your comment is on the Gift Exchange Lite app which has always been free. The Gift Exchange Mobile app is the purchased version.
