### 3/5 — Minor issues

*2015-12-11, version 1.0.6*

It kept saying there was a connection error when trying to send to one of my recipients. I double checked the contact multiple times and everything was fine, but it never sent to that person.

### 3/5 — A bit crashy, rough UI, but works as advertised

*2015-11-14, version 1.0.4*

Chose this one over others in the App Store because it has key feature of being able to put people into groups who should not buy for each other (e.g. If you have a groups of families getting together for the holidays, whom will have already exchanged presents amongst themselves).

The UI is a bit crude and confusing in places, but the link to the FAQ on the web site helps with that. Being able to customize the message is handy.

It also was a bit crashy when putting people into groups. But it didn't lose the list in progress, so I was able to get past that with a cople of retries.

I only used e-mail notification. So can't comment on the text message method.

### 1/5 — Frustrating

*2020-09-14, version 1.1.3*

I liked the lite version for my families gift exchange but I've added a new person so had to upgrade to get eight participants. It's clunky and needs to know more information but doesn't say why. It didn't transfer the info from the lite version. I just wanted it to remember the names everyone got last year but nope. I was hoping the texting would make it easier for some but it sends it as an email and needs the carrier. My carrier isn't even an option. Something that should be so simple is a royal pain. I would have been happy if I could add more people to the lite version. This was definitely not worth the $2.99.

### 1/5 — Don’t buy this app!

*2019-12-01, version 1.1.1*

It is a pain to use. Takes forever to set up, and no matter the settings will not show the organizer who has been chosen. Too many steps. Bad design, bad execution!

### 1/5 — Terrible..

*2019-11-19, version 1.1.0*

This app is terrible. I put everyone’s names and numbers in and it won’t send. It just keeps saying “sending” forever and never sends.

### 1/5 — Don’t pay for this app

*2018-12-11, version 1.1.0*

Used it last year and after a few hours of trying to send names out it worked. However this year it just is not working after countless attempts. I even added everyone several times and it never sent out the notifications.

### 1/5 — It doesn't work

*2016-12-02*

It crashed when the notification is sent. I'd like a refund.

### 1/5 — Do not buy this app

*2015-10-27, version 1.0.4*

Waste of money, does not do what it advertises and crashes frequently

### 1/5 — App is worthless for families

*2014-12-08, version 1.0.3*

This app will not work for my family. It seems to be fine for offices when you want to group people by department, but it doesn't allow you to exclude specific matches for individuals. For example, I want to exclude a husband and wife from getting each other but I want them to be included with everyone else. Thus grouping them separately doesn't provide the correct results. I want a refund, this app is worthless to me!

### 1/5 — Why all the good reviews?!

*2014-12-07, version 1.0.3*

I'm very confused about all the good reviews. This was a waste of money for me. It looked a little confusing from the App Store, but it was the only thing I could find that would draw names and include gift suggestions, so I reluctantly purchased this app. It was not only very confusing (no description of what most of the features even mean, let alone how to use the app) but when my husband and I did a trial run, it never even sent the name drawings.

### 3/5 — Meh

*2016-11-24, version 1.0.9*

Meh, meh. Clunky Ap. Not easy to use. Too many steps to set up

### 3/5 — Does the job

*2016-05-19, version 1.0.8*

For the price, I was expecting a slicker interface and look/feel. I would also have like an option to allow/disallow loops of gift recipients. But it does the job.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Quick and easy for Christmas names

*2019-12-12, version 1.1.2*

Nice app, we have used it for four years. It is very handy.

### 5/5 — Great for Christmas names

*2019-12-11, version 1.1.2*

The new update is great! We have used it for several years. The grouping to keep people from getting their SO name and history limit to keep people from getting the same name as last year is very good.

### 5/5 — Really nice

*2015-12-21, version 1.0.7*

It worked great for our family. I like the history display.

### 5/5 — Good app

*2015-12-12, version 1.0.6*

First time user, looks like it works great!!

### 5/5 — Works great!

*2015-12-10, version 1.0.6*

App works great. I requested a couple of additional options and got an immediate response from the developer. He sent me a test flight for beta testing them within a week and the options worked perfectly. Nice app and a great developer.

### 5/5 — Really nice app

*2015-11-21, version 1.0.5*

We used the PC version for years. Now it is really convenient to run it on my iPhone.

### 5/5 — It works

*2014-11-27, version 1.0.3*

It works great. We have used the PC version for a group of around 20 for several years. The instructions are clear. Everyone gets their names in a timely manor.

### 4/5 — Its great but.....

*2018-11-26, version 1.1.0*

If you have more than 7 participates you need the paid version

### 4/5 — Good

*2015-12-10, version 1.0.6*

It worked good for our family. The new progress displays for drawing names and sending notifications are a big improvement.

### 4/5 — A little buggy but it got the job done

*2014-12-09, version 1.0.3*

The app crashed several times when establishing groups.
Also, I needed to know the cellular service for each exchange member before it would send texts
Also, I sent duplicate texts because it wasn't clear that a text was auto delivered upon finalizing the exchange
As stated though, it got the job done and didn't select members from the same group.
