Examples the reasoning for the answers. Cons- Only offers 2 screening practice tests and 3 mock tests that can only be taken once. Does not give another option to take again, only review the previous questions. The Insights are difficult to read and have not worked at all. Most of my child’s chart is at 0%, that’s not possible after taking 3 practice tests. Does not provide any sort of score just tally’s up right and wrong. ### 5/5 — Educational *2024-09-28, version 2.0.029* Its super educational ### 5/5 — Now the best! *2024-08-11* I used it for my first kid a couple of years back. It has some flaws at that point including some mistakes. At this point they have built the largest source of image-driven questions that are useful for kindergarten to 3rd grade. The daily tests, analytics, etc are very unique in this app. It worked for me before for my first kid and I am even more sure it will work again. It worked fine for several days the stopped working a few days ago. Really crappy that it’s so unreliable as our son has his test next week. Wish we’d bought a paper book instead - this was a rip off. Should’ve listened to the other reviews that had the same problem. Also requiring a google account since it won’t work with a kids apple / iCloud account is also super annoying. Immediate feedback is needed for children *2024-01-15* Good app. My 5yr old likes “the riddles”. Many times - we would get not connecting to servers for daily tests and even mock tests. What’s the point when 40% of the time we cannot connect? During live hours? While the application is installed, on startup, the app is stuck at loading screen with 50% loaded. It doesn’t go beyond that. Do not purchase. ### 1/5 — 😔Doesn’t work anymore- stuck in 1st grade *2025-09-26* This app used to be great last year but they must have changed their level of support because I returned to use it again this year to help my daughter prepare for her CoGat test and I cannot change the grade anymore like I used to be able to. It’s permanently stuck on first grade and from what I’ve read researching to fix it- this is a known issue, so if your child is not in first grade you will need to email support and wait for them to manually change the grade. When I hit the “contact” button 3/4 times a pop up told me an error occurred and I needed to try again (this is after I had typed out my support request so very frustrating). Then today I received an email from support telling me to follow the same steps that worked last year but no longer work because most of the app unfortunately seems to be glitching now. It’s too bad because this app used to work great but if you cannot access the correct grade level because it’s now so buggy it’s pretty much worthless. Also be careful because it auto renews, I recently realized I’ve been paying since last year when I thought I bought a single 3 month subscription. **Developer response:** Hi Wmm14, We are very sorry for the frustration caused. It worked for us. *2026-05-14* I don’t usually write a review for apps, but I felt like sharing my experience for others on the fence about this app. My 4th grade daughter has been close to qualifying for the gifted program at school for a few years. At the beginning of this school year, she took the InView test and received a 120. A 128 was needed to qualify her for superior cognitive ability. Because she was also in the 94th percentile according to her MAP score, they offered her second opportunity testing with taking the cogat. I downloaded this app for her, and it definitely helped her get much more comfortable with the test format and types of questions. For about three months, she did the practice daily questions, and we did all of the practice tests available. We even changed her grade level on the app to 5th grade and she practiced some of the harder questions too. She just took the cogat and she received a 131…. 11 points higher than her last test, and it also qualified her for entrance in to the Super Cog Program, as well as qualifying her for gifted reading and gifted math.
