## What is Gig Boss?

Gig Boss is the key to organizing your music career. Easily view the details to your next gig in your chronological scrolling feed of gigs. Create groups, create events, manage your calendar, track how much a gig pays, and whether or not you've been paid. Group members can accept or decline gig invites via email or in-app. Tap an address to pull up navigation or Uber/Lyft. Tap a phone number to call or text someone in the band. Click “Add to Calendar” by using the ellipses (…) to add your event to your native phone calendar.

Say goodbye to long email chains that hide the details to your next gig!

Managing a tour, fronting a band, and freelancing with multiple groups has never been easier. Tax time a hassle? Can’t remember what you were paid on that one gig? Utilize your Past Gigs tab to view all the gigs you played last year, and easily locate how much you were paid.

Gig Boss was created by musician couple Adam Meckler and Jana Nyberg. Adam and Jana have been professional musicians for more than a decade. Between raising their two sons, fronting their own bands, freelancing with many others, touring, recording, and teaching...it was hard to keep it all straight! They dreamt of an app that would make it easy to find the details of a gig while changing a diaper and running out the door, or racing from a rehearsal with one band to a show with another. Gig Boss was born!

### 5/5 — Great App so far

*2025-08-09*

I just joined a band that gigs a lot (over 200 dates a year) and I wanted a way to organize all the info, dates, times, locations, pay and basic notes. I wanted more than my calendar app could give me, and I don’t want to do a spreadsheet app as it’s a PIA on my phone. I wanted easy but comprehensive. This app has checked all the boxes so far. Very clean intuitive interface. I signed up for the 2 month trial, and after spending an hour or more with it I’ll definitely keep the subscription. It’s worth it to me (not expensive).

My only wish so far is to view any and all gig dates in list mode, instead of the only way it shows now which is sort of an icon square block. Not a deal breaker, but just something for the devs to consider. And if my wish does come true a way to sort it would also be great as well.

And if the devs really want to make my day a way to export a report from “the books” info would be awesome.

Great app if you need to manage lots of gigs.

### 4/5 — Needs iPad app

*2025-02-03, version 1.2.20*

Good idea and good functionality after paying the sub, but cant continue without a legitimate iPad app.

### 5/5 — Musicians NEED this

*2025-01-03, version 1.2.17*

If you aren't managing your business with something like this you are not operating at max efficiency! Total game changer especially with the books feature! Thanks for creating this!!!

### 5/5 — Great app

*2024-11-01, version 1.2.11*

This app makes it so easy to manage the gigs that I have. Highly recommend to any musician who gigs independently

### 5/5 — Helpful for any gigging musician

*2024-09-14, version 1.2.11*

I usually book side-player work, and most of the time I’m booking gigs a few months out or more. Gig Boss has become my go-to for tracking details and making sure I don’t forget anything on my end when I show up. I appreciate that it’s free to use and have recommended the app to folks I gig with.

### 5/5 — GigBoss is exactly what I needed to keep track of my life!

*2024-09-11, version 1.2.11*

This app is amazing. I use it for all my bookings. What I really love is that it keeps getting better too. The developers are super eager to make this tool work for you. Totally boss!

### 5/5 — Amazing app for professional working musicians.

*2024-09-11, version 1.2.11*

Wonderful app for organizing your bands/groups, gigs, and having a one stop shop for all your working music stuff. Made by great people and super convenient, and it’ll only get better!

### 5/5 — The proverbial “game-changer”

*2024-09-11, version 1.2.11*

As a guy who’s been gigging for 20+ years, Gig Boss is the one app that solves all of my (many) organizational problems. I keep suggesting it to everyone I work with.

### 5/5 — Great App, Great Creators

*2024-09-11, version 1.2.11*

This app is clearly an app made by musicians, for musicians. It has a clean layout, easy to use user interface, and it there’s ever a bug the team is on it. It’s a super helpful app whether you use it every week or once a year. The folks who made it are also two of the most down to earth, talented, and all around awesome people I’ve ever met.

### 5/5 — What the industry needs!

*2023-10-12, version 1.2.1*

Awesome app. Reminds me of Splitwise! A lifesaver for keeping info organized. Would love to see integration with payment apps, like Splitwise does, and for the calendar integration to include all details when adding to calendar. But overall this is a game changer and I look forward to seeing future improvements by the developers!
