Highest Recommendation *2024-09-13* I love this app. Purchased Lifetime subscription. Took me a while to realize the banks and A-B-C per patch power. But once you start using all this app has to offer, you won't need much else. My only wishes would be: 1. Adding a Delay and, most importantly, 2. Allow saving config files to iCloud so that all my iOS devices can use the same configuration. Otherwise, I have to recreate the wheel on every device. And if the app doesn't sound good, it's because you have a poor capture. There’s a “tap tempo” metronome on the top right of the user interface. No matter what I do, or how many times I exit and reopen the app, change settings, etc., the metronome NEVER stops beeping. I can only slow it down or speed it up. That makes this app 100% useless. There are no menu options anywhere to make it stop. **Developer response:** There is no metronome in GigFast. This comment is pretty much unrelated. Please check your usage scenario. ### 1/5 — Zero function without payment *2026-04-13* Very pretty splash screen. Goes nowhere and dies nothing unless you pay. ### 1/5 — What the heck is this *2025-11-13* No directions and there’s this super loud screeching noise I can’t get rid of? I’m sure it’s because of the settings but without directions I have no clue how to get rid of it and if I pause the music you can hear major distortion in the background! Which by the way, is an amazing app that costs LESS than this. Loopy just doesn’t have a built in guitar sim The gigfast sims sound great but I need to be able to make actual music with it, not just be a tone tourist. Tuner, midi and banks, drive etc. The cpu consumption is around other NAM players. When will be nam a2 supported? And will you bring out more Ampsims? I like it. ### 5/5 — Excellent plugin for Logic Pro for iPad *2025-08-15* After discovering NAM I wished it was available on iOS, guess what, the awesome developers at ArteraDSP made it happen and it works flawlessly, the bundled tones are really good and you can download many more tunes from a free NAM website! My gear setup is minimal, my guitar, a pocket audio interface, an iPad with a DAW (Logic Pro), and finally GigFast Lite. A must have app for awesome amps. Originally I thought it would be heavily biased towards metal and heavy electric guitar, which it is but the surprise for me is that it sounds great for acoustic electric guitar. Downloaded an extra Roland NAM and cabinet IR from tone3000 and wow, plus I got it on recent sale price, happy camper.
