I’m a guitarist, but not a performer. Nevertheless I have friends that gig, and I love hearing the all the talent gigging in my area. So I downloaded the app, and holy bejeezus! So many insane musicians. I’m building a playlist that I can’t wait to hold over my buddies. We’re always bragging about who finds the best new music, and with GigTown I just hit the motherload! ### 5/5 — Local Music *2015-02-26, version 1.1.2* Great for finding new and up and coming local acts. Clean layout, great sound. It is free to use, and the promotional opportunities offered here would have otherwise cost hundreds if not thousands of dollars. We are able to reach loyal fans in our local communities, book our own shows, and promote our original music on a free and easy to use platform. After correcting errors that I needed to do for my profile to be approved so that I could bid on shows or add dates to my calendar, I still wasn’t approved, so I have contacted support at least 3 times over a week-long period and received zero replies. It makes me wonder if anyone is even monitoring their emails.
