However, since the recent update, editing photos from the gallery no longer feels the same as before. For example, I have an iPhone 13 Pro, and previously, when I used the “iPod” filter, it mimicked the old device’s look perfectly. The grain, the texture, everything. Since the update, it’s less satisfying: the grain is much less visible, and the image stays in high resolution, so it basically just looks like my original photo with a filter on top, rather than truly looking like it was taken on an old device. This works fine when I take a photo directly with the in-app camera, but not when I edit a photo from my gallery. It would be great if you could add a low resolution / high resolution option for gallery editing as well, just like there already is for the camera. That way, we could choose to keep that authentic low-res, grainy look that made this app special in the first place.
