The food on the six course tasting menu and the ten where out of this world. So a very big thank you too you all for making our stay extra special. Thank you so very much from Mr and Mrs Stephen and Fiona Buckley ### 5/5 — What an amazing gem in the Lakes *2023-11-26, version 1.9.2* Everything is incredible, the rooms, the staff, the food at both Spice and Source are meals you’ll remember. The spa experience with a champagne hot tub finish whilst watching the sunset. ‘Magical’ as an adjective doesn’t do it justice!! I would only go back if he left! ### 3/5 — Disappointed *2023-09-03, version 1.9.2* Overall we left disappointed after our visit. We found crumbs on the carpet of our £305 a night room. Two of the lamps had bulbs that didn’t work! This was quickly rectified by taking two bulbs out of a different two lamps in the room, however after having dinner and returning to our room, the bulbs hadn’t been replaced in the bedside lamps? Not really 5 Star. The staff were lovely however this issued should have been resolved when we had gone to eat.
