### 4/5 — It’s great

*2025-06-30, version 11.7.0*

I got it ages ago and it’s a very fun way to remind me and get me money I like how you can make avatars but personally I think you should be able to play games on it

### 5/5 — Auto Learning

*2025-06-12, version 11.5.0*

I’ve been teaching my kids how to manage money and finances ever since they were young but Gimi doesn’t one better. It’s both teaching and showing in one of the best money apps for kids I’ve ever come across. Great results from my kids that work hard each month to raise their earnings

### 1/5 — “Something went wrong”

*2025-05-05, version 11.2.0*

Sounds great, but downloaded only to get “Something went wrong” and the “tell us” contact link doesn’t work either?

### 4/5 — Needs bug fixing

*2024-02-19, version 8.68.0*

I’ve been looking for an app to manage kids pocket money and incentive for chores. Gimi is the best of the bunch I’ve tested but would love to see some of the profile photo and chores bug fixes resolved as it doesn’t yet give a smooth user experience. Although I’m only able to use Demo accounts in UK but would be will to pay for an upgraded version

### 2/5 — Seemed like a great idea but…

*2023-07-21, version 8.54.1*

Unfortunately the app didn’t work for me in the U.S. I’ve seen a few other reviews say the same thing. I set up my account and was SUPER excited to start using this for my seven year old and start teaching him about budgeting and money. After initially setting everything up, it logged me out, and now I can’t get back in. The only way to log in is for them to send you a code to your phone and email, and no code ever arrives. I sent several emails for support and never received a reply. It’s a shame because the app itself seemed impressive enough.

### 4/5 — Great app

*2023-05-19, version 8.50.2*

Set up an account for myself and my son to help track his allowance. Worked fantastically, just logs you out randomly. And if you enter your mobile it won't send you an sms.

### 3/5 — Can’t log in

*2023-02-19, version 8.44.0*

I keep getting logged out of my account after a few weeks, and when I click ‘Join/Log In’ it only lets me create a new account and cannot access my current one.

### 1/5 — Good as long as you don’t need to log in again

*2022-12-25*

The login and invite process is pretty much useless. Switched phones and now not able to log in again, and the kids can’t log in either on their phones which makes this pretty much useless after working just ok for a few months.

The login sms is broken. And on phone which was logged in successfully it just stays on splash screen forever so can’t even open anymore.

**Developer response:** Hi Eliney, and thank you for your review. I understand your issue and we'll certainly discuss the fact that parents would benefit from being able to review the lessons in their app. That would prevent the other issues you encountered by creating a placeholder account. We really appreciate the feedback. If you want to bring up something more we would love to hear from you via hello@gimitheapp.com. Best regards Martin with Gimi.

### 2/5 — Difficult to use

*2022-03-30*

Not the most intuitive of apps to use. Also, you can’t make a mistake. Accidentally approved a chore and cannot undo that or the money that was added to the piggy bank because of that mistake. I really want to like this because I love the concept for my kids. Just make it more user-friendly.

**Developer response:** Hi Tim! Thank you for your feedback. We're looking into making chores undoable in the future. If you have any feedback regarding the intuitiveness of the app, please feel free to email us at hello@gimitheapp.com. We're really trying to improve the app and your insights would be very valuable in this work. Best regards, Martin with Gimi

### 5/5 — Hi

*2021-04-29, version 8.18.1*

It’d be great if there’s a feature for the child to pay you as well. Money works 2 ways.
