Now I listen to gimmecountry all the time. Watch out for Chuck, he’s a gateway DJ! ### 1/5 — Great music, but app is buggy *2021-01-12, version 5.6.5* The DJs and music on Gimmecountry are top notch. Great variety of music, insightful interviews and commentary, and the music video channel is cool to. Problem is I’m paying for a monthly subscription to get extra features and they don’t work most of the time. When I want to listen to show from the vault I get a playback failure or the app crashes. I’m not sure I’m getting extra stations as a paying brigade member either. It seems to me the extra features for paying brigade members seems worth it considering they aren’t working or non existent. Please fix or I may have to resort back to the free service. **Developer response:** Hey Ben, we found the bugs with the vault, updated a new release and would love you to try them out again. ### 5/5 — Greatest streaming country music app on the planet! *2020-11-24, version 5.5.4* I’ve had the Gimme Country app since the early days of it’s existence and it has only gotten progressively better over time. Recent app updates and additions to the service such as the Brigade membership and Vault recordings are well worth looking into. But even if you’d rather just use the free portions of the app its still a great service. And yes, I said free. Gimme Country is free and it is amazing! The music is great, the chatroom is full of awesome friendly folks and I just can’t say enough good things. Gimme some Hank, Waylon, Johnny, Waylon, Kris, and some great red dirt bands! I’d love if they expanded and had a 3rd channel for red dirt. Very rarely both channels will be playing some modern thing that’s political. I don’t want to hear progressive propaganda written by Bob Dylan and played by someone else.
