I would pay a small fee to have an ad-free game. Maybe an in-app purchase for those of us that find it bothersome? In one game I had four aces but it would only meld three of them. Cost me a gin rummy. I also don't like the way it sorts the cards and can't find a way to override it. Shame as this could be a good game if these were sorted out. ### 2/5 — Ok.... *2015-07-18* I agree with the previous poster...let me sort my hand. Tap instead of drag. And yes scoring issues abound. Also I noticed if you get too far ahead the computer is able to catch up in three hands. I have been ahead by well over a 109 points and suddenly my hands turn to crap and the computer wins several hands in a row within two draws???? Would have given 5stars...then you did the update. They took away most of the settings option. Forced timed game that ends it while I am still playing. No place to get answers to my questions!!!!!!! Also, I keep getting the same hand several times in a row, not to mention that cards that have been played already pop back up. Too often it malfunctions when you try to start a game and sometimes you think you have won, but when you look at your opponents’ cards you realise that if they had been better arranged they had gun before you. ### 3/5 — Ugh! Do the Dev Team even play this game?!? *2022-02-22, version 3.0* I’m giving it 3 stars because I like to play this game and actually play it a lot. HOWEVER: 1) you have to be on your toes at all times with your card arrangement, and even then sometimes you get screwed. For instance, you can have rummy but if you have a set of three one of which just happens to be adjacent to the suited run that you have it will usually rearrange AFTER you’ve knocked so that you no longer have rummy…you have residual points. What just happened to me: I had rummy. The game told me I had rummy. I pressed “Knock for rummy” and because I had a run of JQK of hearts and a threesome of 10s including the 10 of hearts it rearranged and said I had 20 points (it put my 10 of hearts with my run, not with the other two tens despite me having it arranged and despite the game saying “knock for rummy” this AFTER I pressed knock for RUMMY!) so my opponent got an undercut score plus points differential. It’s just annoying and unfair and ruins my enjoyment of the game. 2) The betting system pisses me off. If you bet 100 (admittedly imaginary) dollars you can be paired with someone who bet $50 on the game. If they win, they bet $50 to gain $150. If I win I bet $100 to win $150. Again, not fair. Pair me with someone who bet the same amount of imaginary dollars as me. Every other game out there has figured out how to do this. It ain’t that hard, Plus side: their “watch this video for (imaginary) dollars” is worth $500 (imaginary) so whenever I feel like the game screwed me I just do that and don’t watch video but get the (imaginary) dollars. Just helps me feel that justice is served but truly just wish the game would fix these stupid things already. ### 3/5 — GIN RUMMY FREE *2016-02-07, version 1.1* WOULD IT KILL YOU GUYS TO LET US WIN AT LEAST 50% OF THE GAMES????? GIVE US THE HANDS YOU GIVE YOURSELVES!!! NOT MUCH POINT PLAYING...NOT A HOPE ON H$LL OF WINNING! ### 3/5 — The game is if *2015-04-25* It didn't crash that much and didn't have the timed ads that you can not close. ### 3/5 — A few issues *2014-06-27* Lovely graphics and very readable cards. I like that there's no annoying timer. A few of issues: 1. Let me sort my own melds. I lose out on gin when the game forces my sets into runs. 2. Replace that tiresome drag function with tapping to select, especially when I can't even use it to sort my hand! 3. Never heard of layoff allowed when there's gin. 4. Scorecard has some problems. Keeps a current total but there some score breakdown by hand that never changes (?). Can't figure out what's going on there. ### 3/5 — Ok except for a few bugs *2014-06-10, version 1.1* Frustrating - the game re-orders melds and you can't force them out without dumping a valuable card. Have had 3 x three of a kind melds morph into a same suit run and dump out a card or two.
