Why is login required every couple weeks? The app does not allow for Face ID login so you have to enter in username and password EVERY time since it logs you out after 15 minutes. No option to stay logged in. Switching between facilities is too cumbersome. Two facilities I take my dog to both use Gingr, and having to completely log out and into the other one every time I need to switch is ridiculous. There should just be an account/facility switch option. The login screen needs to “hint” the Gingr domain name to password managers. Since it doesn’t, logging in takes extra steps in my password manager to search for Gingr each time. This is especially annoying because of the lack of an account switch option. Finally, having to use some secret invite code to add a new facility seems unnecessary, especially if I already have an account and use the Gingr web portal. At a minimum, just use the first part of the portal domain name instead of requiring a unique code. Even better would be a search option. Once logged in, the app works well. It’s just getting to the point where I’m ready to use it that’s unnecessarily frustrating. ### 1/5 — No good *2026-01-19, version 3.8.1* Terrible app. Choppy. It asks me to add a facility using my zip code, I input the zip and it still shows me a nationwide map and then I have to zoom in to find my local facility. What good is that? Ridiculous. ### 1/5 — Needs work *2026-01-15, version 3.8.1* Here’s some feedback on how to make it better. Registration for new pets and owner info is harrowing. There’s way too many required fields and it takes way too long to enter the info. It should be much easier. All the text fields shouldn’t be necessary fields. Entering this info should be done in different phases where only the minimal essential information is entered. The next phase could have the non-essential info and not having this secondary info shouldn’t prevent you from registering This app could use good UX designer to get some help on usability and probably a good QA engineer to shake out the bugs. How is this app the best Petsuites can find? ### 1/5 — Inaccurate Bookings *2026-06-09, version 4.0.8* At a bare minimum, this app should allow you to accurately select dates for pet boarding. Unfortunately, that’s not the case. The confirmation screen shows the dates one day off from the options selected on the calendar dropdown leading me to mistakenly book the wrong dates and call the boarding facility directly. ### 1/5 — Way too much data mining *2026-06-09, version 4.0.8* Terrible privacy and security policy ### 1/5 — Videos never work *2026-06-02, version 4.0.7* This application never works for live video feeds. If you're hoping to see your pet live on this application, it will work 5% of the time, if you're lucky. We boarded our pet at All American Pet Resort in Greensboro, and I wish I would have been told I would not be able to see my pet during our trip. ### 1/5 — Report card - Audio wont play *2026-04-06, version 4.0.4* This app is clunky and has options that aren’t even useful for the purpose of checking on my pet while he’s at daycare. The shop is outdated and doesn’t show accurate options offered by the facility. Audio wont play for the videos uploaded to the report cards, if you can even get the video to load in the first place. To contact support is a joke and the FAQ articles aren’t helpful at all. I logged in with the same login/password as my PetSuites account and went straight to seeing my boys chilling on their beds. I love how the interface is easy to navigate and lets me request daycare, boarding and add-on services easily for one or both of my dogs. I also appreciate how the app shows me the estimate for my booking upfront so there are no surprises for making payments.
