Forty-one days. You know the number without opening anything, because it sits on your Home Screen counting down to the morning you leave. Giovex is a countdown to your next trip, a packing list that knows how long you are going for, a budget that survives the trip, and a map of everywhere you have already been. No account, and nothing leaves your phone. THE WAIT A live countdown — days, hours, minutes, seconds — on a boarding-pass trip card carrying your own photo or a bundled cover. Home Screen and Lock Screen widgets in five sizes count down natively and roll over at midnight without the app being opened. A Live Activity puts the same number on your Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island. Reminders arrive a week out, the day before, on arrival day and on the day you head home. PACKING THAT KNOWS HOW LONG YOU ARE GOING Eight templates — city, beach and resort, business, alpine and snow, mountain and hike, cruise, cultural, family. A 7-night trip generates 7 pairs of underwear, 3 pairs of pants and 2 sweaters, with a laundry ceiling that adds detergent instead of two weeks of socks. Add your own items, sort by category, tick them off as you go. REAL FACTS ABOUT WHERE YOU ARE GOING Plug types with pictures, voltage, currency, the current local time, and typical coffee and meal prices, across 240 countries. Where there is no reliable data, Giovex shows nothing rather than a plausible-looking default — people buy travel adapters off this screen, so a confident guess is worse than a blank. WHILE YOU ARE THERE The countdown becomes "Day 3 of 9". Set a budget and Giovex suggests a split across seven categories: food and drink, accommodation, transport, flights, shopping, activities and miscellaneous. Log expenses, see what is spent and what is left, and get told whether you are on track, nearing the limit or over it. Split the bill and work out the tip without leaving the app. Export it all as PDF or CSV. WHEN YOU GET BACK A shareable recap card in three designs: a poster, a stats card, and an atlas card drawn from the outline of the country you visited. Finished trips stay fully browsable — packing list, budget, to-do list, destination facts. THE MAP BETWEEN TRIPS Fill in a world map of everywhere you have been, by country and by city: 5,100+ cities across 240 countries, with a country's fill deepening as you add more of its cities. Three tabs — Passport for where you have been, Wishlist for where you want to go, and Collections. Collections are the 19 regions people already have a name for: the Nordics, the Baltics, Benelux, Iberia, the British Isles, the Alps, the Balkans, Southeast Asia, East Asia, Central Asia, the Gulf, the Maghreb, East, West and Southern Africa, Central America, the Caribbean, the Andes and Oceania. Nearly-finished sets sort to the top — "The Nordics · 1 country to go" — and finishing one gets confetti and a share card. Trips import onto the map on their own, and countries can be added in bulk, so filling it in is never a city-by-city chore. Your headline numbers are countries, continents and cities, plus how far you have traveled from your home city: "122,200 km · 3× around the equator". Never a percentage of the world. Trip titles are matched against real places, so "Paris, France", "kyoto japan", "München" and "Two weeks in New York" all resolve to the right destination and bring the facts and the map progress with them. NO ACCOUNT, NO SERVER There is no sign-up and no login. Your trips, notes, budgets and map live on your device rather than in somebody's database.
