Controlling buildings via app – at home and while away The user-friendly interface of the Gira X1 app visualises the Gira One or KNX installation of a single-family home and makes its functions available: dimming, switching, shutters, blinds, heating control, value transmitter, scenes, timer and much more. Camera images can also be accessed "live" and Sonos speakers and Philips Hue can be integrated. Various customisation options, such as selection of favourite functions, make it possible to individualise the home view. Setting up timers in the app makes it possible to execute individual time-controlled functions. From another account on this computer, the Smart Home application does not work at all - the buttons are inactive. It seems that the current version of the Smart Home app is not fully compatible with the MacOS Sequoia 15. I tried to delete the app and reinstall it, but the connection problem was not solved ### 3/5 — Missing features *2024-08-25* The app is good, easy to use, but could have some improvement and create features. First would be nice to be able to edit functions directly from its usage interface. Currently you need to go all the way to the manage menu to edit things in a function. I’d really like that the app would add widgets and shortcuts. Would be nice to be able to control selected favorite functions in the shortcut/widgets screen, without having to go into the app. Also, the integration will iPhone shortcuts doesn’t seem to work. The shortcut opens the app but doesn’t execute the scene. ### 4/5 — Interface *2023-03-12* Sieht gut aus, beim Start aber kommt der Text „Gira“ in dem iPhone Standard-Text, da könnte ein echtes Gira Logo mittig, wie bei der Home Server App hin! Beim iPhone XS funktioniert es prima, bei anderen aber, wie z.B. dem iPhone 8 ist die Bildrate nicht so hoch, wenn man einen Schalter umlegt oder sich Seiten nach links und rechts verschieben. Im Demo-Modus bei der Lüftung sollte man lieber einen Schiebe-Regler oder was ähnliches verwenden, beim ändern des Wertes (0-255) verhält sich der „Schieber“ eigenartig und bugt hin und her. Beim Licht „Dreh-Regler“ sollte man es besser bedienen können, da kommen immer Werte wie 79% und dann muss man genau die 80% treffen und + und - machen es immer einen bestimmten Wert runter (z.B. bei 79% auf 69%), er sollte auf bestimmte Werte eingestellt sein und bei + und - entsprechend zum nächsten Wert wechseln. Bei der Temperatursteuerungsregler-Kachel, wenn man dahin von einer anderen Kachel aus hinwischt, aber nicht loslässt, hat die „Farbe der Temperatur“ keinen Schatten, wenn man dann aber loslässt, erscheint der Schatten plötzlich, beim Licht-Regler ist dies nicht der Fall. Die Animationen sollten auch ganz oft ausprobiert werden und ggf. verbessert oder geändert werden und die Performance auch auf älteren Smartphones getestet und ggf. optimiert werden. **Developer response:** Vielen Dank für deine Rezension und deine Ideen zur Verbesserung unserer App. Wir geben deine Verbesserungsvorschläge an das Produktmanagement weiter. Viele Grüße dein Gira Team ### 3/5 — Fehlende Funktion *2022-12-25* Soweit ist die App für mich übersichtlich und praktisch, jedoch fehlt meiner Ansicht nach die ganz entscheidende Funktion: kritische Hinweise aktivieren. Da bei einer Auslösung der Alarmanlagen in jedem Fall das Handy klingeln sollte, egal ob Stumm oder nicht. Wer das nicht haben möchte kann es ja immer noch ausstellen. Es wäre schön wenn so eine wichtige Funktion kurzfristig eingefügt werden könnte. **Developer response:** Hallo Jannik1003, es tut uns leid, dass die App nicht so funktioniert wie gewünscht. Folgende Punkte sind sind uns negativ aufgefallen: 1. Bessere Nutzung des Bildschirms, eventuell Kacheln kleiner darstellen? 2. „Aufwecken“ des iPads im geführten Zugriff bei Präsenz (zum Beispiel per Push-Mitteilung vom S1/X1). Andere Smart Home Apps bieten dies bereits ### 4/5 — Leider fehlt ein Dunkles Design … *2022-02-16* An sich ist die App sehr gut strukturiert aufgebaut. Wie der Titel schon sagt fehlt leider die Einstellung für ein dunkles Design. Sodass man zwischen 2 Typen wählen kann. Die Kacheln in der iPad Ansicht scheinen auch sehr groß zu sein. Könnten Kompakter ausgeführt werden um mehr Funktionen auf dem Dashboard platzieren zu können. Im Großen und Ganzen ist die App ganz gut. ### 4/5 — Super, Siri Anbindung wäre genial *2021-10-01* Die App ist übersichtlich und tut was sie soll, stabil und nach einem Jahr konnte ich keine Ausfälle verzeichnen. Trotz Tastsensoren,PMs und diversen Szeneneinstellungen, ist die mobile Bedienung per IPhone oder IPad fast die wichtigste Bedienung für uns geworden. Da ich ungern ein G1 an der Wand habe, weil ich es zu protzig finde und weil ich der Meinung bin, zuverlässige Haustechnik muss nicht sichtbar sein, sondern smart und dezent. Wenn die App noch SIRI unterstützen würde wäre das genial und ich würde sofort 5Sterne geben. Auch super wäre die Bedienung über Apple TV. Ich wäre bereit noch was zu warten, aber wenn es in ein bis zwei Jahren nichts wird, steige ich um auf eine Lösung ohne Gira um. ### 4/5 — Grundsätzlich zufrieden *2021-03-19* Ich bin mit der App grundsätzlich zufrieden, jedoch stören/fehlen mir einige (für mich wichtige) Funktionen. Die wichtigste Funktion gerade wäre folgende: Es wäre super wenn ein Widget realisiert werden würde, in dem dann auf bestimmte Funktionen schneller zugegriffen werden könnte. Hier sind viele Kunden unzufrieden, die App starten, in den Raum navigieren, Befehl ausführen.
