I don’t see the point of apps that have no instructions on how to use, especially technical ones. ### 5/5 — A great little app *2025-02-17, version 3.6.0* I was able to measure the RPMs of an old vintage electric motor without too much difficulty. I put a piece of masking tape on the shaft which helped the microphone count 3600 RPMs. Very cool. Giri *2021-10-03, version 3.6.0* Crazy childish skins. Giri is a dum name btw. Better choose a unique word! Super dum autocorrect, too . But that’s a diff company. Shows a 50Hz Whistle as 13520 rpm. If zero stars was an option, it would get -1. ### 3/5 — Not terrible *2017-03-09, version 3.4.0* You cannot use this for machinery with gearing. The rpm will actually change depending which gear you have the microphone closest too. It does say that before downloading. Thought I'd try and when I did get a good reading it was more accurate than the strobe rpm. Too much background noise does make it unreliable to use.
