Downloaded OK but no instructions on how to use ! I don’t see the point of apps that have no instructions on how to use, especially technical ones.

Crazy childish skins. 
Giri is a dum  name btw.  Better choose a unique word!
Super dum autocorrect, too . But that’s a diff company. 
Shows a 50Hz Whistle as 13520 rpm. 
So wrong.

It isn't very good because I was revving at 5,000
RPM and it said I was revving a 2,000

Nice simple display, no gimmicks, no adverts, no profile needed 👍
Displays expected very high RPM when tried on a few different motors and compared to vehicle tacho (Eg, twin reads 2x and V8 reads 4x actual RPM). 
Single cylinder reads over 2700 at low idle (should be around 800, but no way to verify).

You cannot use this for machinery with gearing. The rpm will actually change depending which gear you have the microphone closest too. It does say that before downloading. Thought I'd try and when I did get a good reading it was more accurate than the strobe rpm. Too much background noise does make it unreliable to use. Neat concept.

I was able to measure the RPMs of an old vintage electric motor without too much difficulty. I put a piece of masking tape on the shaft which helped the microphone count 3600 RPMs. Very cool. Recommend it
