I had the premium battle pass ($20) every month for 6 months, spent at least $500 in total, and I’ve been playing extensively since day 1. I’m still missing a few characters. I’m not mad about it. Just think about the players who like to have all the fun content in the game for free, as currency is for cosmetics in other games. Personally, I’ve chosen to use about 30% of my coins for gacha pulls in attempts to get the characters and their gold weapons. Also I like the gacha costumes too much. They’re pretty but they’re not worth it. You don’t need to pay for pulls, but then you need to log in daily for a few months. I’m sorry to say this, but a game should have all free characters and premium cosmetics. You can pay $5 to marry them already. It costs like $500 to get one of these characters maxxed. I almost want to quit because the game has already wasted so much of my time and money in the past 2 years. To anyone who might enjoy this game, if you love this game, do not become addicted to it. Instead of buying skins, invest in one character or one flexible squad. Maybe just save your money instead. Always new stuff to buy and battle passes. Event mini-games are just too hard and waste of time. Every update demands more money and big time investments. No clue why you’d tie rewards behind an event that the inputs only work 20-30% of the time. Or the inputs are delayed so you get hit twice. I love the game but mini games like this really hurt the down time in between playing main story and content. The rest of the game isn’t great however. Too much bloat with the devs adding fluff content while the core gameplay remains unsatisfying as it lacks variety with repetitive reuse of enemies and uninteresting stage design. Overall the game is worth playing as its story is one of better ones. Get a single team of fully levelled and geared dolls to ensure you can clear all campaign content comfortably. Then enjoy the dorm content and other game modes until it stops being fun then log off. It’s not going to get better than that anytime soon. ### 5/5 — Ignore the hate *2026-03-20, version 2.9* I wanted to give an updated review after playing this game on my custom built pc. I began playing it on my iPad and phone and it would crash constantly and was beyond frustrating. But, I saw its potential. So I gave it another chance and installed it on my pc. It runs very smooth on there with no issues. This is where the review comes in… yes it’s a gacha game…. But it’s not. Don’t go in expecting the typical grind and rinse and repeat gameplay. This is a true work of art that the developers have worked endlessly on and it shows all the way down to the roots. Are the rates low, yes, but they deserve to earn money towards their project and dedication. This is a masterpiece of a game and sets the bar high. It literally has everything in one single game. Amazing characters, full customization, incredible artwork and angles. There is so much depth to this game. Easily a five star review and a one of kind experience! I for one will continue to share my experience and support the developers! Phenomenal job! Ps I just pulled my most wanted unit! Ty! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Super Greedy *2026-09-02, version 2.18* I’ve played this game since launch and over time I’ve seen this game get more expensive to play properly. The gacha is horrible, getting a single character is a nightmare if you’re not willing to pay quite a lot. Losing the 50/50 feels more mandatory than chance, and that’s just for the characters you still need to try to get their weapons. If your F2P skip this game, even if you grind and save for weeks to pull for a character you like, chances are you won’t get anything worthwhile and will be forced to push for pity and by then you’ll be left with nothing to get their weapon.
