It doesn’t necessarily interfere since there is also a chance of getting them through events. However, over the last year I’ve noticed less and less updates and the game has been crashing way more often. Ever since I got my iPhone 11 I’ve noticed the screen of the game is smaller and there’s so much crashing, I cant even do campaign quests anymore without the game crashing and it’s really sad since I enjoy playing the game but cant even play the content. If you don’t have any issues I would definitely recommend playing it but for those who have these issues I would recommend holding it off until they fix it. ### 4/5 — I know *2020-06-12, version 1.252.0* I know it says you fixed some bugs but, there’s still a few problems. I just downloaded this app and have been playing it for a few hours. So far it’s pretty good it’s just that, now I’m on chapter 2, and the game keeps on glitching and doesn’t let me finish so I have to restart. The worst part about it is that it keeps on glitching on the same spot. If you could please fix this it will be great. I’ll try tomorrow to see if it stops glitching. ### 4/5 — Great but... *2020-05-03, version 1.252.0* Everything is awesome, but there are a few problems with the game. The first problem is the grammatical errors. If a foreigner plays the game they might translate it and they won’t understand since google translate is kinda trash. The second issue is the bugs with the sound. The music sometimes turns off when you’re in campaign, and in the shop, sometimes the shopkeepers don't speak their voicelines. The final problem and the most annoying of them all is the diamonds system. I don’t get why you should buy them, and there are “vip privileges” that give you better stuff. Maybe you can do the thing line play did with when logging in can possibly get you vip? I don’t want to be short so I can’t get diamonds and be forced to pay cash. Sometimes it gets too expensive with diamonds! Again, everything else is fine besides the toxic people in the chat, and the issues I mentioned. In case you read this creators keep up the good work! ### 4/5 — HIGHLY suggest *2020-04-22, version 1.252.0* hii so i think i might’ve writen this response on the wrong game (girlsxbattle 2). i’ve played gxb 1 for a while now and i realized things changed. the girls cards,voice,and the music that plays while you’re on campaign or top floor,people may not feel the same way but i honestly miss these things if you could,pleaseee bring back the old voiceovers,music, and the way the girls cards looked back then. i’m honestly not used to the new things :(( ### 2/5 — Update gone wrong *2019-12-26, version 1.212.0* I’ve been playing this mobile game for about 2 years now on and off, and I usually come back to it to see some type of update to how things look/work in the game. I’m alright with updates so long as they actually work. Unfortunately, the game keeps crashing on me and refuses to load any images of the girls I’ve collected so its difficult to see who I have on my team and who I don't. I can’t do any quests and continue the story line because the game continues to just auto exit. If they decide to fix this issue, I’ll keep playing. If not, then I might end up uninstalling for good. ### 4/5 — In Depth RPG will fun Artwork *2019-11-27, version 1.212.0* Overall: fun for collectors and strategists (regarding resource gathering/spending), good artwork, and a lot to do. Only reason for 4/5 is because the game is loading with things to learn and requires a more than average time investment to get into. Seems Free-to-Play and Pay-to-Win friendly. To elaborate: The game has a very large amount of features with plenty to do, it’ll definitely keep you occupied! With that comes a bit of a learning curve and you have to be willing to spend some time to adjust and figure out how everything works. The character art in the game is cute and provocative - it’s up to you if you like it, but for me it’s a fun reason to keep collecting and that’s a plus. Collecting and leveling up characters/items is rewarding, especially if you use your resources wisely! There are micro transactions and with that comes a inherent boundary between spending and non-spending players. But from the point that I am at, it seems that most of the game is PvE and the only noticeable difference is the speed at which you can progress (I’m sure there are a few events and such that would require spending to “complete”, but ultimately I think that giving it enough time you will progress into late game experience without paying). ### 2/5 — Fun game, unfortunately very predatory. *2019-01-10, version 1.163.0* I am leaving a review on this game after playing almost 2.5 years daily. Experience vip0(non-paying player) maxed level, seen the up and down of pvp meta, nerfs, buffs, you name it, I seen it. The game itself is fun, and really gets your attention if you like waifu games or collector style game. However, if you want every girl or be top of the pvp ladder, be ready to drop thousands if not tens of thousands just to stay on top/up to date/collection. The developers will always keep trying to get you to pay more and more due to weekly events, the events are either rng hell or top 10-50 spending players get whatever exclusive for that event. They will sprinkle in a good event here and there, but overall, they will try to milk you for every last cent and then some. They do not really care for stability or their player base, they only care about their financial income. Regardless, it is up to you to decide if you want to spend on this game via time or money, but just be warned that this game can and will keep you in a state of wanting more until you realize they are going to keep selling something that was sold previous for 10 dollars, but now is 20 dollars. ### 4/5 — Good game but.. *2018-12-29, version 1.163.0* The game is really enjoyable and it’s addictive, but the game has a lot of problems. First I wish they had some boy characters Ik Ik it’s called girl x battle but I think it would be better with stories you know? Next they always ask for money most of the characters are really expensive like Kratos event just to get the character it’s 1000k it’s quite impossible next really hard to level up. Sure to 1-30 it’s pretty easy but it starts taking weeks to level up. Maybe make more varieties of ways to level up including leveling up the characters ### 2/5 — Pay To Win *2018-10-04, version 1.20.0* The game itself is very fun, but the huge downside is that you’re unable to get most of the girls unless you “recharge” diamonds which means you have to buy diamonds in order to get just the event battle girl. In order to get a chance at getting one of the battle girls that are unavailable to players that don’t pay, you need to pay 200$ to get vip 9, after that you unlock the vending machine that you need vip 9 for. You basically gamble your diamonds that you just spent 200$ on to only have a bit of a chance at getting the girl you want. In conclusion, the game is fun but in order to be the best you need to use hundreds of real dollars. ### 4/5 — Surprised *2018-09-01, version 1.20.0* I personally am not a fan of card games or anime’s like yu-gi-oh or elder scrolls but this one I enjoy Though it seems like your typical rpg type fighter game I love it because of the story behind it if your a girl reading this no it’s not just for guys I’m a girl too and this is so fun to spend my time on I do think that it could be improved to an even greater extent but so far so good would definitely recommend ### 2/5 — Soulless Money Grabber, Pay To Win/Play *2018-08-26, version 1.20.0* This game is a lot of fun and very addicting. HOWEVER, the soulless money grabbing is mind blowing! I’ve never played a game so desperate for money. $120 for ONE skin recently and that’s normal for them. If you have a few thousand dollars to blow every single month you can have endless unfair advantages compared to people who don’t want to pay to win. And in-game customer service is absolutely terrible. If you complain about a glitch during an event that wasted your real money they talk extremely condescending and rudely to you and try to keep your money with no reimbursement (or a completely cheap one). Pretty sure that’s stealing. Also if you don’t spend money on stamina you can only play it for about 30 mins at a time. In closing, it’s a good game, but I can’t say enough bad things about it. DEFINITELY not worth playing. ### 2/5 — I had no idea what was going on *2018-08-06, version 1.20.0* I’m probably going to delete this game after I finish writing this. This is because as soon as I created an account it just threw me straight to game without explaining anything, you really need to ease someone into a game. It just scared me straight into some sort of story, with no context, I had no idea how my character got there, or what was going on. I became extremely confused. As I said before, you need to ease someone into a story, not just throw them straight into it and expect them to understand. Other than that the art is really good, and I’m sure it’s great game, but personally I can’t just handle being thrown into a story like that with no context. Hope this helps. ### 4/5 — Really cool *2018-07-07, version 1.20.0* I really like this app the art is so cool and so is the storyline and what you can do in the game. The only thing I find really weird is that the Battle girls call the player “master”. I just kind of sounds like their slaves and I am a female so it just seems really sexist. Otherwise I really like the game and couldn’t bring myself to delete it because of one little detail, but it would make it a 5 star app if that detail was changed. ### 2/5 — Has potential, but not very good right now. *2018-06-14, version 1.20.0* The game is cute and fun initially, but the English translations are very poor and it is difficult to understand what is really going on in the story or with any of the girl relationships. No explanations or guides to help you out, it is all done through experimentation. The updates say there are members designated as helpers, but I was never able to find anyone to help me understand how certain things work. I just had to try random teams and kept getting overwhelmed by others who knew all the good characters to pick. Only way to make up for early uninformed decisions is to spend a lot of money on their currency. My recommendation is to give this one a pass. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — There’s many flaws. *2021-05-05, version 1.513.0* I personally believe the concept if the game is very fun, and it can be a addicting game, however there is a low of things wrong with the game that nobody addresses or acknowledges. There are characters with the bodies of children that are drawn in a sexual way, which is of course the sexualization of children. They use the excuse of calling them “loli’s”, but calling a child a loli is the same thing as sexualizing a child. There is also racism that takes place in this game (intense white washing) that the creators think is okay and refuse to do anything or fix anything about it. It’s honestly embarrassing how the creators of this game thought that sexualizing children and racism is okay, and this seriously should be fixed. Other than these flaws, the game is fun, but i would not suggest supporting the creators until these things are fixed. ### 1/5 — Stealing money!!!! *2018-12-20, version 1.163.0* My boyfriend purchased about $10 of whatever on the game. They then preceded to take money continuously which came out too over $300 missing from his account!!!! Freaken awful!!!! We contacted the bank notifying them about it and we found out there lawyers won for whatever reason even tho they stole the money!!!! We are livid!!! All the over time money gone that we needed and they stole it!!! I’ve had this game for over a year and loved it but now I will never play this game. This company is doing people dirty and it’s about time someone said something. The game itself is awesome, but they have gotten worse and worse with the cash grabbing. Now it’s gotten to where you don’t even have a chance to participate in some events without recharging and even if you do recharge, you could still end up spending literal hundreds of dollars without getting what you want. It’s ridiculous. I say this as a V12 player who put a lot of time and money into this game. I really wish they would do something to change this but I doubt that’ll happen so I just cut my losses. I installed it just out of curiosity, because it looked totally inappropriate. After checking it out, now I know that it is totally inappropriate for a girls of nine years of age. I have a 14-year-old daughter and there’s no way I would let her play this game. We don’t need to be teaching our daughters that they should be sexualized. In the introduction, there are women who look like young girls with busty bodies; They are the characters in the game and they are wearing lingerie and it one point nothing at all. This is totally ridiculous and makes me sick. ### 1/5 — Giant Cash Grab *2018-01-23, version 1.18.0* The developers of this game are only after money. You have to spend at least $200 in order to get good avatars. Each “event” is geared towards people who are willing to shell out lots of money for good items/girls, so if you’re looking to get anything worthwhile, be prepared to empty your wallet. BTW, those “Free” events are few and far between. When they do come around, it becomes very difficult to achieve the desired item without spending real money. Also, I played long enough to max out my profile and girls, and it only becomes even more apparent at higher levels. Sure, there are 2 or 3 girls that can hold out against the VIP9 girls (Sisha and Ninja mainly), but if a person has spent over $2000 on the game, you are going to lose 99% of the time. But, it keeps getting stuck on extract files. I tried re downloading it again and again. But, it wouldn't work still. Please fix! I summoned a battle girl and I didn’t realize that I had her already. Summoning a battle girl is worth over 200 diamonds on the game when you get it from medium vending machines . I got her from choose your battle girl from reaching a milestone, but still that was like over 200 diamonds gone! I give less than normal because of this. I still stand by my suggestion, and in the recent updates, the game doesn’t seem to be working as well as it was before the update. It took up a lot of storage at the time so I deleted it for a few to clear my storage, when I went to play it seemed it wouldn’t connect my account to anything and I had forgotten my user name which is completely my fault. I’m trying to play it again so I contacted through email over 6 hours ago and no response, I’m probably just being impatient but I just don’t know if I’m ever going to get a response. I honestly can’t say that I have a favorite battle girl. Very unique. Powerful at full potential. No one can say “but that one is weak!” because every battle girl in the game is strong if you use them in a good team. What I mean by “good team” is a team that specifically gives each battle girl a role. There are three types of girls. Mage-Type, Physical-Type, Support-Type. Of course, it can also be “mage-support” or “physical support” because battle girls are not always just one of the three types. For example, “Nurse” is a mage-type battle girl. She uses magic-type skills, and her skills are for healing. Making her a “mage-support” type girl. Another example, “Liklis” is a physical-type battle girl. Her skills reduce enemy’s defense with physical attacks and deal decent damage. Making her a “physical-support” type battle girl. ( I restarted on 9/9/19) I noticed a few things about the game. 1: You had another battle girl instead of Ninja and gave her the same lines which didn’t make any sense as she was not Assassin’s little sister. 2: Why do girls still not have where you can go visit them and win their love? As two girls I own do not have this trait. 3: How do you earn PK points/coins? Now with the workshop quests open and everything else that needs attention we need far more stamina to do everything. The occasional chocolate gift or cake gift event makes it even harder to do everything that needs doing in one day as the costs get excessive quickly. I was hoping that players who have conquest levels would be awarded with an increase in max stamina which would make clearing conquests more rewarding. For those who have cleared a lot of conquests will these players have their stamina increased retroactively? The thing that makes it so addicting for me is that you can’t play it all day. You reach a certain point in the game where all the levels start to actually become a challenge and there’s only so much you can do in one day with the game. It requires you to wait for certain things which I like. Diamonds come naturally to you unlike most games where you have to buy them in order to even advance. You can have a relationship with your battle girls. This game is waaaay better than the second one.
