## What is Gistil?

Your time matters. Gistil helps you spend it on videos that do too. Find the moments worth watching before wasting an hour.

Discover educational videos matched to your interests, understand their potential value before watching, jump directly to useful moments, and turn completed videos into progress toward a learning goal.

KNOW BEFORE YOU WATCH

For analyzed videos, Gistil helps you decide whether a video deserves your time with:

• A personalized value score
• Depth, novelty, and practical value ratings
• Key ideas and a concise summary
• Core content percentage
• An interactive content map
• A recommended starting point

JUMP TO WHAT MATTERS

See the structure of a video at a glance. Open a useful section or begin at the recommended moment instead of searching through the entire video.

SET A GOAL. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS.

Create an active learning goal and choose how much time you want to invest. The Growth feed helps you discover videos related to that goal.

When you finish a matching video, mark it as Completed to add its duration to your progress. Each video can be counted only once.

DISCOVER BETTER VIDEOS

• Get recommendations shaped by your interests and preferences
• Explore Recommended, Browse, and Growth feeds
• Filter by category, content type, value, and duration
• Search by title, channel, topic, or key idea
• Save interesting videos to Watch Later
• Use Like, Dislike, and Not relevant to improve recommendations
• Control autoplay and choose light or dark mode

LESS SEARCHING. MORE VALUE.

Gistil is designed for curious people who want to learn, explore, and stay informed without wasting time on videos that are not right for them.

Gistil tracks completed video time toward a goal. It does not claim to measure knowledge mastery.

Videos remain on YouTube and are played using YouTube-supported playback. Gistil does not host, download, or own video content. Video availability, playback, advertising, and related features are controlled by YouTube and the respective rights holders. Gistil is not affiliated with or endorsed by YouTube or Google.

Make every viewing session more intentional by choosing valuable content, skipping irrelevant sections, and focusing on the ideas that support your goals.
