### 2/5 — Out of touch devs

*2019-01-13*

At least let me see if the app is worth the effort of signing up before forcing it on me.

Especially with all the data leaks, who wants their data in yet another random server with who knows what security policy? And Facebook has no need to know anything about other apps I use.

The whole setup just strikes me as the devs being totally out of touch with their target audience for this kind of app.

Also kind of ironic that you can’t use github to authenticate.

### 4/5 — As advertised

*2017-01-20*

To start this app WILL ask you to create an account, I don't see any issue with this but if you do this may not be the app for you. If it doesn't bother you, the account creation process is relatively quick and painless!

The app itself is easy to navigate, well designed and built with no real glitches of note (so far).

The flash cards could be more helpful -- giving more in depth examples would be a definite help -- but at the same time I would expect that anyone who's actually interested in learning is taking their own steps to apply what they learn through this app.

This is not a total learning app, it's a flash card app and as such it's pretty good.

### 3/5 — Pretty good

*2016-12-21, version 3.20160822*

For the git cards I really need a pic with git to play about to truly learn but this provides a good way to stimulate your learning.

### 1/5 — Facebook Login or account required

*2016-04-28, version 2.20141029*

There is no reason an account is required. Just yet another identity grab. I'll stick to the web thank you.

### 2/5 — too bad

*2016-04-27*

Real world examples would be better. This card set was created by someone who probably doesn't know git.

Register by email is flakey.

### 1/5 — Login for a notecard app?

*2016-04-17, version 2.20141029*

You want me to create an account and log in just to use a set of flash cards? No thanks!

### 1/5 — Requires sign-in

*2015-12-11, version 2.20141029*

Regardless of how useful the content may be, requiring I have an account in order to study flash cards is absurd. I've no interest in spam, phishing, or whatever else you may have planned.

### 4/5 — Nice app

*2015-11-15, version 2.20141029*

Useful for leaning git commands. The account registration page has a glitch. It does not scroll up or down on an iPhone 4S.

### 4/5 — One small thing

*2015-10-18*

Great app. However, I sometimes find it hard to relate their use-of-terms to actual commands I types. Instead of "git-xxx-xxx", showing the actual commands would be better.

### 1/5 — Don't waste your time

*2015-08-23, version 2.20141029*

Why does this app require an account registration? Come on, your next app will be calculator with Facebook and Youtube integration as it seems.

### 1/5 — It's a quiz

*2015-06-24, version 2.20141029*

Not a set of flash cards for easy memory like it claims.

### 1/5 — Login error

*2014-12-05, version 2.20141029*

Errors when I try and create an account through either Facebook or email

### 2/5 — Useful until it began requiring an account

*2014-11-01, version 2.20141029*

Deleted once it began requiring an account. I just want no-hassle flash cards, not yet another social network. Happy to (anonymously) pay for this.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Trash

*2023-07-06*

Zero functionality unless you register with an email. Instant delete

### 1/5 — Have to Sign up?

*2022-05-05*

I’m gone

### 1/5 — In violation of App Store rules

*2020-05-22*

Supports social sign in, but not Sign In with Apple

### 1/5 — Demands sign up

*2016-10-10*

The app demands a sign up with Facebook or e-mail for anything. No thanks!

### 1/5 — No explanations

*2016-10-06*

It displays commands using weird git-xxx-xxx format which is not a git command at all. It makes very little effort to tell you what the command does. Git is complex, and this app doesn't help you much.

### 1/5 — Why to Sign in/ Sign up?

*2016-09-18*

I don't want to login or create new account at all but just want to use the app as is.

### 1/5 — Doesn't work without creating a custom account

*2016-09-05*

A simple app should.

### 1/5 — Why do I have to sign in?

*2016-09-03*

There is no way to use this app without creating an account and signing in. Why?

### 1/5 — Poor, have to have an account to use

*2016-06-24, version 2.20141029*

Goes to show nothing in life is free, no idea if this app is any good as o won't give up my Facebook or personal details to find out.

### 1/5 — Information grab

*2016-05-28, version 2.20141029*

There's no reason why this application should require you to create an account.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Quizlet on steroids

*2015-09-28, version 2.20141029*

Thank for an excelent adaptive flash-card platform. Will recommend to students

### 5/5 — Hitting the Book

*2015-09-20*

I'm finding new commands all the time that I didn't know existed. Finding myself hitting the book up again to learn even more.

Loving the help system. Up front when valuable, out of the way when not needed. No "Clippy" system here.

### 5/5 — Very slick and useful app

*2015-09-17, version 2.20141029*

Great UI makes the fantastic content very useful. I'm not a big fan of apps asking you to review, but in this instance I'm happy to oblige.

*2014-10-29, version 2.20131217*

Excellent and focused application using spaced repetition to help you fill your brain with git.

Thanks, improves productivity!

### 5/5 — Like!

*2012-08-31*

I love education, especially in a tech-format, allowing students (of all sorts) choose & progress at their own pace. Just started using, but I truly like this app so far! I recommend that others try it.

### 5/5 — Excellent tool for learning during commute!

*2012-04-21, version 2.20120122*

Strongly recommended!
