It is a great idea to raise money for your favourite charity as you shop. I used to use it on my laptop but these days I use my iPad more and it is more convenient. It is very easy to set up and use. Most of my favourite shops are on it. I just open my Give as you Live find the retailer I want to shop at then shop as normal and a percentage of what I spend is turned into a free donation for the school. I love it! Now I use an iPad so installed the App but sadly even when I troll endlessly through the listed shops and find the one I desire, there is no donation afterwards. Every time I open the App I get a warning that it needs updating by the owner and it is generally useless. Each time I enter my login details the page then freezes. The display default of 10 stores at a time is frustrating. You have to keep scrolling to the bottom of the list to click a button to get the next 10. Also, if you're on a list & have scrolled through a long way, & clicked on a retailer, ok, that's taken a while but at least you're there. Click the Back button & you don't go back to where you were, it resets you to the start of the alphabetical list! So the cause is noble but the app is not user friendly & is time consuming to do anything on.
