Does not work! *2026-03-24, version 1.9.8* After downloading the App, when I attempted to add a snipe, it told me I had already use my max 4 free bids (I hadn’t). It them directed me to a subscribe page for $2.99. I went ahead and subscribed. I went and added my snipe. When I went back to view my snipes it was not there. Tried on 4G same issue. Tried leaving for hours and returning to it, same issue- repeatedly. Finally had the idea of trying to sign up via browser instead. Finally saw error message that special characters were not permitted, which I fixed. However, notification that I’m not signed up yet- I need to wait for verification email. Waited in vain- nothing. Checked spam- nothing. Tried to go back to app but login failed. Noticed there isn’t even a forgotten password option on this so anyone forgetting their password is completely stuck. Feels like I’ve wasted too much time on this app that appears to have a bug at every turn. I generally buy coins. Not sure what happened but neither the primary or backup worked. For $10 it works, but the app needs much help. Today was one of those days where if I’d known Gixen was down I’d logged in to bid. So the fail rate is likely 1.5%. But, beware that if you put a silly highest bid for an item thinking it will go for way less, but you really want to have the best chance of securing the item, it will take it up to any reserve put on by the seller. And some sellers have weird ideas of what their things are worth. Never put a maximum you’re not genuinely willing to pay. That’s my fault, not Gixen’s of course.
