I pay for this platform, yet I still receive ads, which is unacceptable for a paid subscription. Additionally, after purchasing and connecting my own domain through their service, my website is still publicly accessible under a GIZI subdomain. This creates branding confusion and SEO issues, especially since the GIZI URL displays outdated information about my business. A paid hosting platform should not expose customer sites through multiple public URLs without proper controls. This experience has been frustrating and does not align with what I expect from a professional website service. **Developer response:** Thank you for your honest feedback. We would like to confirm that the issue with your website being accessible under the GIZI subdomain has already been resolved, as communicated earlier via email. Your site is now correctly aligned with your custom domain only. Regarding ads, GIZI is currently testing limited in-app ads to help keep the service sustainable. However, ads are not shown to users on any paid user plan, including the GIZI Supreme plan. If you noticed ads while using a paid plan, we sincerely appreciate you bringing this to our attention. Your feedback genuinely helps us improve, and we appreciate your patience and support. ### 5/5 — THE ONLY WEBSITE BUILDER THAT SHOULD EXIST *2025-06-15, version 6.18* This platform offers the smoothes functionality and provides the highest level of quality. It is user friendly for sure. My favourite feature is the Updates of Website Visitors that I receive, which helps me more motivated continuously improve my website so as to keep visitors up to date with my latest business growth. Making changes isn’t time consuming and difficult at all which is highly convenient for me as my schedule is often packed as a sole proprietor managing everything in my business. I highly recommend! ### 1/5 — I wish I never started using GIZI. *2025-04-20* Just take the extra time and effort to create something on Wix. At first I loved how easy to use this app was. It took me one evening to finish the website and start sharing the link for my small business. I loved it so much I decided to buy a domain url through GIZI. DO NOT BUY A DOMAIN THROUGH THEM. You lock out the domain for an entire year and it’s not really yours, it’s the developers. I eventually grew out of GIZI, needed more features and customization capabilities, so I tried transferring my domain to Wix, that’s how I figured out it’s not mine lol. I can’t transfer it. I’ve tried dozens of times to reach out to the happyhelp support email they have on the app and I’ve never heard back from anyone. And it’s not even just the domain that’s the issue. The servers are constantly going down. I couldn’t access my website for a whole week once. They’re probably going to respond to this review saying “have you tried reaching out to happyhelp” I have. And I’m done. The developer of this app is MIA. Wasted my money on the domain and it’s locked down for another year so I can’t use it for my small business.
