Purchased a burner number and after multiple attempts it’s not worked or allowed me to utilize what I’ve payed for. And for that reason I give it 2 stars. Needs more work, isn’t a finished product. ### 4/5 — Great app *2026-08-22, version 1.0.8* I have been very pleased so far with this app. One cool thing that I would like to see available is the option to see the websites that have been detected as tracking. I think it would be beneficial, if it’s coming from specific apps, etc, I would like to get rid of them if possible. ### 3/5 — Huge supporter by the way *2026-08-20, version 1.0.6* I’ve had the app for about two months now pretty much as soon as it was released, was working really solid until about 5 or 6 days ago. Lately it seems like I can’t even get through a full song on iTunes, or a single YouTube short without my phone having to buffer or load, thinking it was my phone I’ve restarted, ensured it was up to date, even on WiFi I’d have disconnected issues where texts wouldn’t go through or wouldn’t load a simple webpage. Well the very second I disconnected the vpn magically everything started working lightning fast again and service is back to normal. Not 100% sure if that was the issue but I’d say it’s a pretty solid process of elimination. I’ll continue to pay for app to support but idk what the true root cause is just yet. I connected to NordVPN and phone continued to work smooth, I’ll check back with glacier to see if it was just a bug that needs to be updated or what soon. ### 4/5 — VPN *2026-08-14, version 1.0.6* Add more locations to change to ### 3/5 — Good but regular small issues *2026-08-14, version 1.0.6* It’s a great idea from a trusted source and the app does function, but I have to turn the DNS/VPN off and back on multiple times a day to get my internet to work and it’s keeps giving errors when I try to switch my VPN location. ### 5/5 — Effective and reliable *2026-08-13, version 1.0.6* The app does everything it promises. When I call 1800 numbers from abroad, the app disables the phone dialer section. Going back to previous vpn. ### 1/5 — Scammy *2026-08-17, version 1.0.6* I feel like Sean Ryan got us on this one. Everything he talks about is his video about this app is behind a paywall. This is a VPN. That’s all. ### 1/5 — So many issues *2026-08-11, version 1.0.5* Have been looking forward to this app since Shawn talked about it a year ago. States that VPN can slow or limit connection. When it is turned on, my phone connection completely vaults. Cannot use any other application or data when connected to the VPN. Big flaw for a security app where a major use for it is VPN. Also using DNS completely shuts down all internet use when on cellular. Absolutely drains phone battery when anything is connected in the app. Contacted support and they said data was flowing through DNS, but never loading for me. No recommendations on how to fix it or have the app work properly. Overall, this app could not be more disappointing. ### 1/5 — Disappointment *2026-08-10, version 1.0.5* I downloaded this app after hearing about it on SRS. Wanted to demo it. No demo. You must subscribe to even see what you are buying. Based on the description looks like a pretty basic VPN to me. You want DNS protection just use OpenDNS for free. Having been forced to create an account only to be met with a pay wall and no ability to even see how the app works, I then tried to delete my account. Guess what? Error deleting account. Shocker. Data collection much? Shawn should have asked some one before he put his name on this. ### 1/5 — SLOW/No refunds *2026-08-07, version 1.0.5* Be cautious. Super slow my phone wouldn’t download photos in iMessage or stream anything. Contacted support for refund and was denied due to it being more than 7 days of use. Now I have a useless 1 year subscription lesson learned. ### 1/5 — Overpriced vpn *2026-08-06, version 1.0.5* This is basically a vpn service with dns which is a decent vpn so long as you don't want lots of location options to choose from and only want the usa as your location. The burner numbers are calls only no txt and since that's how nearly all companies that you give your number out to verify with txt this feature is somewhat lackluster for the price-you can get burner call only numbers for free. If it had the option to txt and particularly blue bubble txting it would be worth it in my opinion but it doesn't. ### 1/5 — Purposefully Difficult To Cancel *2026-08-02, version 1.0.5* You can’t cancel the subscription through the iOS App Store, and the login button on the glacier website does not work, at least on mobile iOS. You need to navigate to a difficult to find login button and then confirm on multiple pages you’d like to cancel. Switching to another vpn option. ### 1/5 — Not what I expected *2026-08-02, version 1.0.5* VPN was never able to connect to my phone. I also paid for one line subscription and I kept getting a something went wrong message and never got to use the burner phone number.. If you think about what the app does on your phone you can perform all the same things from your MacBook. I have a separate vpn for this but man it would be good to just have it all consolidated. I encourage everyone to look at where other vpns are based out of and who owns them.
