The first version was already very limited but now you can’t do anything!! Can’t transfer from one member to another in the app you have to go into the branch to do so. Sooooooo awful!!!! ### 1/5 — Final straw that made us leave Glacier Hills *2020-07-31* This new app is somehow even worse than the prior. It feels like somebody’s first project for high school web design class. ### 1/5 — AWFUL AND COMPLETELY USELESS *2020-07-28* This new app is a HUGE disappointment. I can’t transfer money to my daughter’s account anymore and she’s headed off to college. Can’t do mobile deposits so now I have to go to the drive thru, which is just lovely during the Covid 19 pandemic. I can’t see any older transactions... In fact, the only thing this app is good for is to see your balance. Also, the new cards aren’t accepted on Apple Pay anymore, so no touchless pay during Covid either. And twice now the card has not worked at Glacier’s own atm. Please get your act together and fix this. I have been so pleased with GHCU in all the years I’ve been a member, but I’m just about to take my business elsewhere. ### 1/5 — Glacier Hill App *2020-07-20* The app is not as good as old one. If your a new customer, do yourself a favor and go somewhere else. There was nothing wrong with he old app yet they decided to mess with it for no apparent reason. This app is terrible compared to the old one. The other app was so convenient and was how I did most of my banking. It makes me want to change banks all together. It is vague and my accounts are not named. I paid on my credit card, and it didn’t even show that I paid. You can’t transfer money to another person’s account anymore, which was very convenient for my husband and I. I can literally go on and on. I’m so disappointed, and now I have to drive to the bank because it won’t let me log in anymore and I can’t get through to ANYONE!(I imagine that’s because I’m not the only one that’s complaining) I’ve called multiple times, and while I waited I was hung up on. The app before was just fine, I don’t know why it was changed to this crap. ### 1/5 — Dislike *2020-07-05* Not a fan of how the accounts are displayed and how each transaction doesn’t show the balance of an account before or after each transaction, just the current balance. ### 1/5 — Dislike! *2020-07-03* Really dislike the new app. I hope they are still working on it. Very limited features available to manage my membership. I especially hate how all my accounts are just numbered, why can’t they say, “checking, savings, Christmas, vacation”. And it looks like we can’t open new accounts from it. Fingers crossed that it’s a work in progress. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Fix your d*mn App *2023-05-18* Please fix your App so your customers don’t get the circle of death and can actually access their account… Whoever sold you the upgrade from 2020, sold you swamp land. I have 2 other lenders I bank at and have NEVER had the issues this bank has. ### 1/5 — By far the worst mobile app of any bank/credit union *2023-05-05, version 22.2.200* If you want to check your balance great but that’s about all you can do besides applying for a loan. That is if the app is actually working and let’s you sign in… more times than not I’m fighting with errors while logging in and rarely does the facial recognition feature work. Usually say I need to login with username and password to reset facial recognition. Dissatisfied, if you want any kind of mobile features I would consider a completely different institution. Honestly there’s nothing about Glacier Hills that I would recommend them of anywhere else. ### 1/5 — Don’t Waste Your Time *2022-01-28, version 21.2.70* Unfortunately I can’t give it a rating of zero. ### 1/5 — Terrible *2021-09-01* The app and online banking system is broken. All I want to do is check my balance every once in awhile and I can’t even do that without an error message. I’ve contacted the bank a couple times on this matter and each time they’ve had to reset a password or PIN number. I should be able to do that myself without having to contact the bank. The app is very vague and not set up very good at all. Hate it ### 4/5 — GHCU App Works Fine! *2026-01-27* Just opened a checking and savings account at GHCU earlier today. I prefer everything electronic, so I went to download the app when I got home. I always check the ratings and reviews to see what I’m in for. I was surprised to see the number of 1 star reviews. Surely this was the worst banking app ever! Just finished customizing my user info, and even established external links to 2 other banks I use. Everything worked fine. Don’t let all the bad reviews fool you. ### 4/5 — HATE this app! *2020-09-20* This is the worst bank app! To Confusing and less features than the other one. Complete down grade of an app!
