The system keeps changing my home address and at times does not confirm the booking. It does not allow for changing the booking time nor cancellation. Altogether an extremely unwieldy system. ### 1/5 — Rip off *2024-04-14* They now try and charge a cancellation fee which is not advertised or informed of before trying to book or after taking pre payment details. Even worse when they are unable to allocate a taxi for your booking. For your inconvenience and there inability to send a taxi to the city centre they will try and charge you in excess of £5. Why bother having taxis when you can charge customers for incompetence and inability to complete the service you offer. Dont even bother trying to call them, just get a computer. Unfortunately Glasgow taxis is now not fit for purpose and tarnish the black hack service in the city. ### 1/5 — Prebooking pointless *2024-03-28* When prebooking on app it does not guarantee a taxi will be available at time almost missed my train because the taxi didn’t turn up for 15min (the whole time the app showed the taxi across the city 1min away) ending in my missing my train to Inverness ### 1/5 — Appallingly bad app *2024-03-23, version 4.9.0* 1. It refused to accept Apple Pay to prepay. Not sure why. 2. Despite 1, it booked me the taxi, but the trip didn’t appear in bookings. 3. Despite accepting the booking, it couldn’t find a driver. ### 1/5 — Useless *2024-01-21, version 4.6.0* Waited 40 minutes and all I got was ‘assigning driver’ decided to cancel and walk but was charged £5.50 cancellation fee. Use someone else ### 1/5 — Pollybee *2023-11-05* If I could give zero stars I would. Horrible horrible customer experience. I used this cab company from the station and as I was needing a taxi 2 days later got a card from the driver. He said no problem just call and book. I called 3-4 hours before and booked the cab. The lady on the call advised me to book it earlier as I was catching a bus to plan for any delay. I book the cab for 7pm and by 7.15 hadn’t arrived so called back the lady was so rude not an apology or anything. She couldn’t tell me when it would arrive and told me to read the terms and conditions. Jeez I was booking a cab not planning a merger with Google. Will never use them again and will spread the word. The cab finally arrived 40mins late I missed my bus. The only saving grace was the driver was lovely. I’ll be sticking to Uber in future, 🤬🤬😤😤😤 ### 1/5 — Rubbish! *2023-10-27, version 4.6.0* Tried to pre book a taxi, but when it came to the time they had not despatched one! And said they couldn’t find any, and just refunded us. Unfortunately this was not helpful for us attending the show on time! Just use Uber . ### 1/5 — Can never seem to get a ride using this app *2023-09-24* Attempted twice in one day to queue a taxi at two different times. Waited over 10 mins each time before giving up. Either Glasgow has no taxis or this app is a fraud. ### 1/5 — Horrible user experience *2023-09-08, version 4.6.0* Scheduled an appointment at 3.30am, but there is no indicator in this app showing the status of the booking. ### 1/5 — Pointless *2023-07-15, version 4.4.0* Pointless offering a note section to leave crucial details about your booking. Drivers never read it then refuse to pick up. Incredibly frustrating especially when left in pouring rain. ### 1/5 — Pointless to pre book *2023-05-15* Pre booked a taxi over 24 hours in advance, money held from my bank account - only for no taxi to show up, app constantly saying “assigning driver”….finally managed to get thru on the phone (it took ages) only to be told that taxi ranks take priority over prebooking - work that one out!!! Ended up having to cancel and hoped for the best to try hail a cab further down the road. Money took over a week to be refunded back to my account. App now deleted! ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Late. No communication. *2025-11-12* Booked at Taxi for a short trip to the train station from my hotel. Gave it an extra 25 mins despite it being a short 8-10 minute trip, just incase of traffic etc. Taxi doesn’t show up. App tells me it’s 30 mins away. Then 15. Then 25. Phoned the number provided and got a robot, robot tells me the taxi is 3 mins away. Phone again 10 mins later, robot tells me it’s gonna be 2 mins now. Finally get in a different taxi that had just dropped off guests at the hotel. Missed my train anyway. Taxi 25 mins+ late, which would be somewhat understandable, these things happen - however, no communication, no one to talk to, no explanation. Terrible, won’t be using again. ### 1/5 — Unreliable *2025-10-31* I’ve used this company a few times . Unfortunately there has only been one time where they have actually shown up on time . Pre booked a taxi for pickup from location at 7:00 pm as I had a gig I was going to . Never showed up ended up calling Uber instead . Almost late for my gig in the process . When phoning automated service kept saying we are aware you are waiting, a driver has not been assigned . Not impressed, understand it was heavy traffic but I actually pre booked that journey in advance of my trip , waste of time to be honest . ### 1/5 — Scam *2025-06-22* Need to be wary, they will charge you for your ride before letting you know the length of time you will be waiting, they will then give you an arrival time which apparently they won’t stick to, then the initial price you’ve paid may change, then they will charge you a cancellation fee so you have to stick with the same poor service or pay them to reward them for their incompetence. I’ve literally just deleted the app after my first use. Stick to uber! Infinitely. Better service. ### 1/5 — not working *2025-03-01, version 4.11.0* glasgow taxis app not working i cannot get app to work after trying for days ### 1/5 — Pre-booking nightmare and charge for nothing! *2025-02-18* Prebooked a taxi with this app which was supposed to take us to the train station early in the morning. We had train tickets booked for a weekend away in England with the kids. Taxi was not there on time and 6 minutes after the arranged pick-up time the app stills shows the driver as ‘being assigned’. So, we obviously got very worried and managed to flag down another taxi from the same company who takes us to the station. The driver also cancelled the pre-ordered taxi (which I also did in the app). However, I’m still being charged £6.50 and being labelled a ‘no show’. Because I was not there when the taxi supposedly showed up 9 minutes late. Sorry, guys that is not only not good enough it is also totally unfair when it was you guys that broke the arrangement in the first place. My advice, don’t use the app and dont prepay as they will charge you for nothing! And for the record I already spoke to the company who did nothing to cancel the charge. Seems completely normal for them. I reiterate don’t pre-pay and don’t use the app because it enables this behaviour from a previously reliable company. ### 1/5 — Unacceptable *2024-11-13, version 4.11.0* Prebooked taxi for 0800.
