I hesitated initially because I did not want to get solicited by apps like MINT and Credit Karma which ask for all my financial information in return for a "free" app! GLASS is all that the other reviews say and most of all it's safe. Since it does not have my financial info it cannot be vulnerable. How can we possibly be expected to remember what happened 3 to 6 months ago? No way!!! Who I had a business dinner with on 3/15/16? Did I take an order home that same night for my kids and charge it on the same credit card for convenience? This GLASS app has simplified things to the max. I now cannot only document in notes who I dinner with; what did I take home? How much did that personal item cost? How much did the business dinner portion cost? Make notes on the dinner receipt and take a picture of the receipt and upload it within that specific transaction! Add notes and tag that same transaction as business and personal. Who knew this could be done by one APP? Yes, the GLASS app! No more sleepless nights wondering if you ever get audited by the IRS - you won't be able to defend your expenses because you forgot to document the details they may ask for? Those days have gone bye-bye! The specificity with which I can tag my transactions for all bank and credit card accounts in ONE location is unfathomable. It is simply WOW! Unbelievable! Why wait till a quarterly or even monthly bookkeeper comes and does this for you? Do they really know these details? Will YOU remember the details to share them with your bookkeeper? The accuracy of tagging your expenses appropriately will grow tenfold. Without question!!! Then to top it all off you can upload all your tagged transactions via a csv file on a monthly or a more frequent basis! And along with your transactions, all your notes specific to any meal etc. you had and pictures of the respective receipts get uploaded via a pdf document in the same email? Have you ever heard of such a useful app? Companies can use it to document expense reimbursements. Parents can track the expenses of their kids in college in an efficient and more real time manner. Tax preparation will be a breeze. It is easy to use, intuitive and beautifully designed. Why would you NOT want the accuracy and functionality that the GLASS app provides? Why would you not want to pay your bookkeeper less? Ask them for assistance once a year when it is tax time rather than monthly or every quarter? Why wouldn't you want a more accurate tax return? The decision seems slam dunk to me! GET THE GLASS APP NOW! ### 5/5 — Use GLASS to curb identity theft! *2017-04-10* I started using the GLASS app a few months ago. I was monitoring and using the app for tax purposes... keeping all my airline ticket emails, food expenses, travel lodging expenses and taxi receipts attached to my bank and credit card transactions. It was so much easier to attach a screenshot or photo to a credit card transaction than try to find it later.... Then last month I saw a transfer from a bank account I don't use much. If it was not for it being in my GLASS live feed I would have not noticed it until I received a statement in the mail. GLASS gave me a heads up as the transaction was pending. I called the bank, reported fraud and got the money transfer refunded! Way better than calling LifeLock after the damage! I was two steps ahead with GLASS! ### 5/5 — Den *2017-04-09* It's the greatest and safest way to consolidate, monitor and organize my account. I used to file all my receipts and bills in a filing cabinet to keep track of my expenses. Not anymore!!! It's a beautiful app. I love it!!!!! ### 5/5 — GLASS is a godsend! I do not need Quickbooks anymore! *2017-03-05* I have been at the mercy of my Quickbooks/Intuit certified bookkeeper for years. At $100 per hour with thousands of credit card and bank transactions to reconcile and categorize, there was the cost issue but even more frustrating was having to correct mis-categorizations and manually categorize each credit card transaction across 4 different ones for my businesses, rentals, travels, etc. There was no way she could know my life and it's details the way I do! It was easier to let the valid deductible transactions go! Who has time to notate who you had a deductible dinner with and keep a receipt? What about tax audits and the hunt for receipts to validate deductions? I wanted a solution which allowed me to categorize all my bank and credit card transactions. I wanted to have receipts attached electronically. All deductions would be in an excel database with receipts attached!! This was my dream! And I wanted it in a secure, private forum. Not solicited by some such apps that mine my banking data and email me 10 times a month. GLASS is an app that does all this! I love it. I have tested it in beta and it has simplified my life. I know I now have streamlined records and will be able to withdraw more from the 529 accounts for the kids' education in college. I can track my car expenses and other Schedule C related deductions to the cent! There is so much more that I will be able to simplify. I can do all my tags while waiting nowadays. Use GLASS to liberate you. It will simplify accounting as we know it! Pending transactions were added in version 1.1! Not "taggable" until cleared but adds live tracking of charges! In the latest version, released in Feb 2017, almost all US financial institutions are available to be accessed and organized! Over 9000!
