### 4/5 — Great App

*2025-04-23, version 1.7.6*

I love the app but I wish that when you turn your phone you would be able to view in landscape mode. That would make it easier to view everything.

### 4/5 — Yay!

*2021-04-06, version 1.7.5*

You guys are back!!

### 3/5 — Cant sign up

*2020-08-13, version 1.7.3*

Keeps quitting without signing up

### 3/5 — No Updates

*2020-06-24, version 1.7.3*

Although it’s a great app but why the last update this app got is 4y ago!
Is it still active?

### 2/5 — Updates?

*2018-11-03, version 1.7.3*

Dropped another star... love this app, but it needs some updates and attention from the developer.

So bummed Slide Rule abandoned us... I’d still pay a subscription if they’d show up though... dropped a star because they haven’t.

Slide Rule, there's a lot of great ideas here and plenty of us that really love this app... we use it everyday and have offered some legitimate suggestions and feedback... are you planning some updates, or have you abandoned us?

I'd happily pay a subscription for some regular updates and feature adds... pretty sure I'm not the only one.

### 3/5 — Needs Google calendar integration

*2018-09-14, version 1.7.3*

Looks like an amazingly useful planner, except it only integrates with iCal, not Google calendar. I exclusively use Google calendar, because I can access it from any device, including school & work computers.

### 3/5 — Almost perfect

*2018-07-17*

This app is sooo close to being the perfect app for me. It has everything I want, except a way to search tasks and events and a holiday integration. A search tool is important because it allows the user to find tasks and events quickly if they forgot the date of it. The apps I use all have a search option. I really hope that Glass Planner will integrate these things.

### 2/5 — Unloved?

*2018-07-11, version 1.7.3*

So impressed with this app when it launched and awaiting eagerly the necessary integrations with a desktop or web based application and to take advantage of updates in iOS. Sadly it hasn’t been update for 2 years which is eternity in app and must take it is no longer supported. Pity.

### 2/5 — Took My Money 😕

*2017-12-28, version 1.7.3*

The app is amazing! But when I tried to upgrade it took my money and did not give me an upgrade. 😕 and now I think I have to delete it.

### 2/5 — J’ai perdu espoir

*2017-12-27, version 1.7.3*

Cette application est pleine de potentiel. Pourquoi l’abandonner? Ses développeurs la trouvent-t-elle parfaite? C’est pourtant loin d’être le cas, elle aurait besoin d’améliorations.

### 4/5 — I Only Ask For 1 Feature

*2017-09-28, version 1.7.3*

I love everything about this app. Simple to use also. I DO NOT want a notification from something that I've completed already. Am I the only one who doesn't like this?! Please fix. I'll give 5 stars then.

### 4/5 — Nimble and intuitive integration of calendar and task planner

*2017-04-27*

It's unlikely you'll find a better integration of your calendar and to do list. Your day is typically a mix of tasks and appointments which have to be organized by time: Glass Planner does this perfectly. Additions and changes are fast and easy, making Glass Planner incredibly useful for dynamic planning and ripping through your execution list. Longer term project planning is basic but has the essential tools to create and schedule multi-task activities. With the focus on time as the primary organizing principle, nothing gets lost and more gets done.

## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated)

### 1/5 — Am unable to sign up or use

*2020-08-18, version 1.7.3*

I saw this app recommended on a forum post a little while back that I was reviewing today in preparation for going back to classes. I read positive reviews on this app so I was excited. Unfortunately I can’t even sign up to try it out.

Very disappointed.

### 1/5 — Won’t let me sign in

*2020-02-11, version 1.7.3*

It will not let me sign in on my email. Says error hostname could not be found.

### 1/5 — Can abandoned apps like this be taken over?

*2019-10-19, version 1.7.3*

This was an excellent, quick and unique scheduling app with room for improvement. There should be a way for a new developer who sees the worth and potential in this app to assume it from its originators in order to revive it.

### 1/5 — Don’t use!

*2019-09-20*

This WAS a great app, it was everything I could ask for in a planner. I relied on it heavily, and had a LOT of information/lists/ future schedules/etc. stored in it. My problem happened after I changed to a new phone and downloaded all my stuff back from the iCloud. When you’re first moving into a new phone you’ll often have to log back into your old apps. I can’t do it in this one because there’s no longer a server to connect to, no support for this app at all any longer. Their website is gone, email address gone, NOBODY there to help me get back in the app to at least see my info to copy it down into a new app. Anybody know what I can do??!?

### 1/5 — Can’t even get it to work

*2019-08-21, version 1.7.3*

Was excited about it until I launched the app... Can’t even get to log me in. Used my gmail address and the iCloud one too and I get the same message: A server with specified host name could not be found. If you help with that, I will up my ratings. Many thanks.

### 1/5 — Abandoned App!!

*2018-05-24, version 1.7.3*

Hasn’t been updated in years! Useless!

Don’t use or purchase any IAP unless you want to waste your money.

Slide Rule Software.... either update the App or remove it from the App Store. It’s old and outdated.

### 1/5 — Doesn’t work

*2017-11-01, version 1.7.3*

When I add my email and wait for confirmation.
I never received it, I do it daily.
Still nothing in my inbox or spam to confirm my account.

Where’s the developer?

### 1/5 — Outstanding planner and productivity app!!

*2017-05-15, version 1.7.3*

Love the app, but.... as with many other reviewers I have emailed the developers and received assurances a new version would be coming out soon. That was months ago. Use the free version if you want, but

DO NOT PAY FOR THE UPGRADE. THIS IS A DEAD PROJECT.

### 1/5 — Unusable

*2017-01-22, version 1.7.3*

No verification email received to complete setup. Multiple emails to the company have been ignored.

It looked promising; too bad it appears to been abandoned like a previous user stated.

### 1/5 — Dead on arrival

*2016-11-23, version 1.7.3*

App appears to be dead - multiple attempts to register were not responded to.

## Most praised reviews (10 highest-rated)

### 5/5 — Game Changer.

*2025-03-25*

I’ve been with Glass as my main To Do Planner, and I just love the simplicity, practicality, and ease to forward the events to the later day… I procrastinate a lot, but this allows me to either reschedule with one swipe, or just schedule a repetitive events.
Glass is a Game Changer because it’s different than your running list or your daily do to, it’s incorporating everything in, so you can tell how much time you will need…

### 5/5 — Glass is back!

*2021-08-07*

Been waiting for this app to be updated for a long time! Thanks Slide Rule! One problem though…sometimes it freezes up and I have to turn off the ol phone to operate it again. Seems like this happens every couple days. Any fixes on this matter would be much appreciated. Thanks again.

### 5/5 — Happy to see some small updates, is there a roadmap?

*2021-04-12*

Still inspired by and unable to find a good replacement for Glass Planner after 6+ years. I’m not sure if it’s the same people as before but I think Glass is offering something valuable that I can’t get anywhere else. Please keep it going <3

### 5/5 — Elle

*2021-03-07, version 1.7.5*

Glass is the best productivity app I’ve ever used!

### 5/5 — Are you back???? B

*2021-02-25, version 1.7.4*

I am so excited! I was using the app and up popped a window, asking if I like the app. I love your app and am thrilled you are back.

### 5/5 — Are you really back?

*2021-02-25, version 1.7.4*

I don’t know what made me look today but I’m soooo exited to see you updated 2 days ago. I have missed this app!!!

### 5/5 — I keep returning to this because it's great

*2018-06-28, version 1.7.3*

I do hope this continues to be updated for new operating systems as they evolve. I've used it on and off for years and love it. On when the work I'm doing is more schedule driven (it moves me along effortlessly). Off when the nature of my work is more sporadic, creative and less time based. But note it would be useful for that too it's just I like the "holiday" away from structure on certain periods. Anyway, great app, well thought out.

### 5/5 — Love it for years..

*2018-05-25, version 1.7.3*

This is my favourite to-do, event, calendar app. Exactly what I want.
Two things to make it perfect:
(1) widget in control centre
(2) full screen for iPhone X.

Awesome app.

### 5/5 — Wish entering data was faster

*2017-09-16*

I like it. I wish there was an easy way of entering your schedules, or should I say faster, and then label it later. Like in the iOS Calendar, you can just hold your finger at a certain time and create a block and then go in and edit the text and any other info. Right now I think there are too many steps to enter one event. I wind up entering things in my iOS calendar and then wait for it to populate Glass Planner to start labeling it.

### 5/5 — FINAL UPGRADE = TURBOCHARGED

*2017-05-18, version 1.7.3*

I'm not a computer geek brainiac.
I just intuitively am directed to new stuff I need. Find one that works, and smile.
This one works for me.
Apple is hiring people left and right. So why not hire these guys?
Their app functions fine.
This app's features should be in every new IPhone when you open the box.
10-2-15 UPDATED REVIEW:
Every time I ask for help the developer responds quickly and helpfully.
I postponed paying the extra $6 to get unlimited items in the checklist function because I'm half Scottish (frugal).
I let my other half (Irish/Welsh) blow the $6 on unlimited items in all checklists.........
Now my Glass Planner is TURBOCHARGED!!!
Fewer major categories listed each day, but more sequential items hidden in each category checklist until I open up that category.
YES!!!
First fasten your seatbelt, then upgrade to unlimited TURBO-PERFORMANCE checklists!!!
I can't wait for photo insertion for Glass
(P.S. They don't pay me for this review)
5-17-17 UPDATED REVIEW
I stopped using Glass for a while. Then I got interested in David Allen's GTD. I borrowed the newest edition of his book from the local library and read it all the way through. Too wordy for me. Plus I bought two apps that were supposed to be very good for his GTD. I also compared them to Glass and guess who won? Glass!!!!
Now I'm very satisfied with Glass👍👍👍
