Ordered VE4472U, damaged in production and now out of stock. Offered a $25 deduct for more expensive and a 5% refund, which was nice and appreciated. Reply email asked if I were to buy 2 pair, would the $25 deduct be valid. Got reply from that you wanted to sell me VE4492, that I did not want. Called in to sales/service (a human) and although wouldn’t give me the deduct, we salvaged the sale for VE4406 sunglasses. I did order the Ray Bans I also wanted. Ben with customer support was stellar in assisting me. ### 2/5 — And the loop goes on *2026-07-11, version 1.6.2* Not working. I have tried to reset my password. Email link says it doesn’t exist. When I go into the app to sign in, I put in my email and when I click on the link it puts me back at the Apple Store to open the app. I can get on the website, but the only way I can track the progress of my order is by my original email confirmation. The website doesn’t have a way to look will at history. It is only designed to sell more glasses. If I can’t track the progress of my existing order with ease, there will be no future with us ### 3/5 — Bogus offer *2026-06-27* I’ve been trying to decide on a few different glasses with GlassesUSA. Tonight they even sent me an email offering a welcome discount. I tried to use the info they gave me. First off I’m not sure they know that even though I had glasses in my cart using chrome-they were not the glasses I was buying. If I go to the GlassesUSA app with my email address it showed my glasses I wanted to buy but the welcome discount was invalid. So, GlassesUSA are you aware of the problem with your app can gave one cart, and the chrome “click” on this in your email didn’t give me the glasses I had added using your app. So I ended up still buying the glasses without your welcome discount. But I do feel that if I hadn’t liked the glasses as much as I do, I wouldn’t have purchased any. Just too confusing. All I wanted was to buy my glasses and have a back up pair. I united for several days on the GlassesUSA website then I switched over to the app. I hope my order goes thru. I also feel like GlassesUSA probably knew about the app and chrome not working together. So the welcome discounted one time coupon was worth zero. I’ve got a bad taste in my mouth over this whole thing. Does GlassesUSA know what they are doing? Not really. I can think of several ways you could increase the number of glasses you sell. But giving out invalid extra discounts for a welcome to their company was bogus. But, they try to convince you to get these thinner lenses and promise a 15% discount on your next purchase with a “prescription card” that’s supposed to be worth a significant discount off your our next purchase. I never got the 15% discount code - which is worthless anyway if it doesn’t stack on their codes. I got the prescription card after 2 customer service interaction. I go to scan the code after it comes in the mail a week later. It’s worth $15 off. But it doesn’t end there. I go to scan it and it takes me to their website and will not give me any way of adding the code to my purchase. Just sell the thinner lenses and stop making empty promises. ## Most critical reviews (10 lowest-rated) ### 1/5 — Stay AWAY, Please! *2026-08-01* The screw on my glasses frame loosen and fell off. I couldn’t re-screw it back on. I tried to initiate my protection plan, but they didn’t have the frames I wanted. So, I wanted a refund (I was even willing to do a partial refund) to get the frames I wanted. They refused and insisted on in store credit, but I didn’t want an in store credit because they didn’t have the same frame in stock. I really liked the frame and I wasn’t willing to settle on other frames on their website. Instead, I wanted to find the same frames from other sites. I talked to customer service and they were horrible. The lady refused to listen to my concern. I asked if I could speak to management, a supervisor, or someone higher up to see if they could work something out (again, I wouldn’t mind a partial refund). She said there was none available. I asked when will there be one available, so I can call back. She said there was none, and hung up on me. Our call wasnt done and I, as a customer, felt the call was ended prematurely. I told her not to hang up, but she just said goodbye and hung up. Absolutely horrible, don’t waste your time or money PLEASE. Save your time and money, and spend it somewhere else. Somewhere more willing to listen and help their customers. I received them today by Amazon Shipping! My prescription plus transitions, including your best progressive lenses. I was understandably anxious ordering online for the first time. Will the frames fit like the try on says they do? Will my prescription be correct, will the progressives be placed correctly? And will I be happy with the total product? We live in FL so I needed protection for my eyes. I had made a mistake ordering glasses from my eye doctor- not ordering transitions. So I have suffered since February with those glasses. And they wanted almost $700 for new glasses with transitions. I couldnt afford that. I had already paid almost $400 with insurance for the first pair. In steps GLASSESUSA.COM - and for less than $400 including 2 years of added insurance, I have a brand new pair with everything I need. And received them in less time than the original pair took to come in at the eyeglass store. I couldn't be happier.
