## What is Glassroom?

Glassroom is an intuitive iOS/iPadOS native application which enhances the Google Classroom experience by providing advanced features such as speed improvements, instantaneous loading with cache, and user convenience enhancements. On iOS, Glassroom allows users to quickly search for Posts and Courses without having to scroll through an endless list of their Courses or Posts, which lets them find what they need quicker. While on iPadOS, Glassroom has Universal Search, which allows users to quickly search for Posts and Courses all in one area.

Adding on, Glassroom caches all of its Courses and Posts on device, which allows you to access Glassroom and read cached Posts even if you do not have an internet connection.

Furthermore, Glassroom also features a lot of client side features like sorting by Post type, client-side grouping and archiving of Courses, client-side customisation of Course colours/icons, client-side renaming of Courses, and accessibility features like bionic reading. This results in a cost free improvement to Google Classroom's user experience using Google's own approved APIs which we call Glassroom.

### 1.1 — 2024-01-21

Glassroom 1.1 includes lots of performance improvements as well as bug fixes to the app! Here are some notable changes and features added to Glassroom 1.1:

New features/changes:
- Overhauled iOS's Course post list view by shifting everything from the bottom bar to the top
- Added direct renaming of Courses by pressing and holding (or right clicking on an iPad) on a Course
- Redesigned the Settings page
- Added options to reduce Course name opacity for unloaded Courses and enabled fancy UI in Settings
- Added a content unavailable view when there are no relevant search results in Courses or Posts

Bugs fixed:
- Fixed an issue where showing and collapsing Teaching/Enrolled/Archived sections will not animate
- Fixed a bug that allowed Groups to merge with itself
- Fixed a bug where the Colour picker would float above the Symbols picker in Customisations
- Fixed an issue where a Coursework's Turned In/Assigned status is shown to those who are Enrolled in a Course
