## What is Gleamly?

Gleamly finds the photos and videos you don't need and helps you clear them out, all on your iPhone or iPad. It's completely free: no account, no sign-up, no in-app purchases and no ads. Your photos never leave your device.

FIND THE CLUTTER
• Similar Photos: groups shots taken moments apart and suggests the best one to keep
• Similar Videos: spots clips that look almost the same
• Duplicates: finds exact copies
• Screenshots: groups similar screenshots
• Blurred: finds out-of-focus photos
• Others: screen recordings, very short clips, unused burst shots and photos of documents
• Browse all photos and videos sorted by size, biggest first

YOU DECIDE WHAT GOES
• Gleamly pre-selects everything except the best shot in each set. Tap any photo to change it.
• Swipe to clean: swipe left to delete, right to keep, with undo.
• Nothing is deleted without your confirmation. iOS asks before every delete, and deleted items go to Recently Deleted in the Photos app. Empty it there to get the space back.

MORE WAYS TO SAVE SPACE
• Compress: saves smaller copies of large photos and videos. Originals stay unless you choose to delete them.
• Live to Still: keeps the photo of a Live Photo and drops the motion clip. Date, location, favorite status and albums carry over.

SECRET LIBRARY
• Keep private photos and videos behind a 4-digit PIN, with Face ID or Touch ID if you turn it on.
• Items are encrypted on this device. Choose Move (removes them from Photos) or Copy (keeps them in both places).
• The Secret Library is not backed up or synced. Deleting Gleamly, or resetting a forgotten PIN, erases it, so export anything you want to keep first.

WIDGETS
• Battery and Storage widgets in small and medium sizes, and a large widget with battery, free space and what your last scan found.

CHARGING ANIMATION
• Pick one of 5 full-screen charging animations. To show it when you plug in, create a Shortcuts automation (Charger > Is Connected > Open URL). Gleamly shows the steps and the link to copy.

PRIVACY
• Scanning, grouping, compressing and encryption all happen on your device.
• No account, no ads, no analytics, no tracking.
