## Version history (last 4 releases)

### 1.2.1 — 2026-09-30

GlenMate Pulse is now GlenMate My City.

• New name and branding focused on your city’s local news
• Clearer city-only feed experience
• Updated app icon and in-app look
• Preference and personalization improvements for local reading

Update to continue getting local headlines for the places you care about.

### 1.2.0 — 2026-08-23

What’s New in 1.2.0 version:
Nearby cities in the header — see your city plus two nearby Pulse cities, then tap More Cities for the map and city picker without leaving the app.
Open a story full screen — tap a news card (anywhere except a link) to read it with a larger photo and type. Close with ×.
Cleaner home — the app goes straight to your Pulse feeds (no marketing landing screen).
USA map — city hotspots show correctly on the map again.

### 1.1.0 — 2026-06-16

Version 1.1.0 — Pulse improvements

Easier to read
Feed stories use larger text and more spacing on iPhone, so expanded articles are easier to read and usually fill more of the screen.
Full summaries
Story summaries now show the full text from our servers instead of cutting off mid-sentence.

Clearer errors
If the news service is temporarily unavailable, you’ll see a simple “Please try again in a few minutes” message instead of technical error codes.

Stability
Fixes for category switching and feed loading when the API returns unexpected data.

### 1.0 — 2026-06-09
