## What is GlidePad?

GlidePad turns your iPhone into a local trackpad and keyboard for your Mac.

Pair with the free GlidePad Helper for Mac, enter the code shown on your Mac, and use the iPhone in your hand to move the pointer, click, scroll, use gestures, and compose text before sending it to the Mac.

Made for the moments when your Mac is across the room, connected to a TV, tucked under a desk, or sitting on an external display setup where reaching for the keyboard is not the move.

What GlidePad does:
- Local iPhone trackpad surface
- Screen map mode for direct pointer placement
- Cursor speed controls
- Click, secondary click, double click, scroll, and gesture controls
- Native iPhone typing with autocorrect and suggestions
- Compose panel so you can review text before sending
- Optional haptics
- Free Mac helper for native pointer and keyboard events

What GlidePad does not do:
- No account
- No cloud relay
- No screen streaming
- No remote desktop session
- No screen recording or Mac screen inspection

GlidePad is designed as a focused, private input tool for Macs you own or are authorized to control. It works over a local peer connection between your iPhone and GlidePad Helper.
