Rainbows caught on their line detonate instead of quietly vanishing. And rainbow combos show you the transformation before the fireworks. EVERY SCREEN, REDECORATED Rewards, season, settings, store and profile rebuilt in frosted glass, with softer gradients and far less glow. The old ones are in a box in the attic. TWO NEW TRACKS Daily Lantern and Infinity had been looping the same song since launch. The grove has finally written some new material. ### 1.5 — 2026-08-31 FRIENDS ON THE TRAIL Your Game Center friends now appear on the Grove Trail map, standing on whatever level they've actually reached. If someone's 200 levels ahead, you'll find out. If they've been stuck on 47 since March, they'll know that you know. A CALMER HOME SCREEN The background has stepped back, the four game modes line up in a tidy row under the title, and the fox has learned when to stop talking — tap him for a tip, tap again and he goes quiet. The gem board moved under the Grove Trail button, folded into a little tile you can pull open whenever the mood strikes. Still 5 gems per 100 matches. Still our secret. ### 1.4 — 2026-08-26 LEADERBOARDS & CHALLENGES HAVE ARRIVED We built them. We tested them. We loved them. We then submitted the app to Apple without them. They're here now. Go be competitive. THE DAILY LANTERN IS TRULY DAILY Everyone on Earth now gets the exact same puzzle at the exact same moment, with a countdown so you know how long it's got.
