Why apple have allowed it on App Store I really don't know. It fills your photo album with thumbnails. It won't allow you to delete the app off your iwatch no matter how many times you press delete. But takes WAY too much storage. On the first day of using this app, I had about 100+ photos on my phone created. It's annoying. The Apple Watch can only deliver short bursts of info, and I wish there were more apps that delivered a usable newsfeed. But this model uploads every single headline as a picture that winds up in my Camera Roll and Photostream. After half a day there were hundreds. Since I'm not prepared to give up my the use of my photo albums, I'm uninstalling Glimpse. Too bad. ### 3/5 — Good concept *2016-12-24* I like the idea of this app, and the execution isn't bad. The problem for me is that since it first downloads the photo that's shown on the watch to your photo app, it results in a flood of unwanted images being uploaded to my iCloud albums, Dropbox, Google Photos, etc. It does this as long as the app is installed, whether it is the synced album or not, and I found that deleting the cache still doesn't get rid of the photos in my albums and backups. I haven't figured out a good way around this yet, so until I do, or until the way it handles the photos changes, I uninstalled it. I like the idea, and if I didn't have to continually purge my albums and backups of unwanted photos, I would probably use it. ### 3/5 — So near yet so far *2016-11-21* This app is so promising. The Apple Watch lacks a good news app with a sensible main complication and this comes tantalisingly close. The only problem (and it is a big problem) is that it shows the last x tweets as photos (which are superbly used as pictures in the Photo Album watch face). If the app could delete these photos once I've seen them (essentially marking the tweets as read) and then only show unread tweets/pictures, then this would be my watch face and Glimpse would be my go-to app. But it doesn't, so I don't. And I only keep it on my watch in hope that this upgrade will come one day. ### 1/5 — really poor implementation *2016-11-05* only Nat geo shows on watch and refuses to update even after setting other content repeatedly, even after powering off watch and watch plus phone. deleted app. there are good ones but this isnt one of them ### 4/5 — Excellent! *2016-09-29* Innovative use of current watch software. Step two is to select the “photo album” watchface.I scroll through all of them and there’s no such thing. There’s “Photos” but they’re saying no that’s not what we’re supposed to two so I’m stuck.
