## What is Glink 5250?

Glink 5250 for iOS is an iOS-version of Gallagher & Robertson's best-selling terminal emulation program, Glink Professional Edition for Microsoft Windows.  

Glink 5250 is used to access applications running on IBM iSeries systems. Glink 5250 emulates all IBM 5250 terminals and uses the TN5250 protocol for communication with the host systems. 

Glink brings you a high quality and proven emulator for your iPad, iPhone devices and Mac computers with M1/M2 chip. 

Glink supports GlinkProxy, a server application designed to provide persistent host connections for Glink clients where the connection from the client device is unreliable. This may be because the device enters sleep mode or goes out of Wi-Fi range.

I paid for this app and loved it, but it does not run on iOS9 and contacting support is a waste of time. They will not reply. An expensive mistake.

This app has worked great for me.   It is full of user friendly features that help me to be more productive.   The roll back feature works very well to look back at things that I have already accessed, and the ability to copy and paste is fantastic.   I really like that it supports macros.  This makes many of my tasks easier and less time consuming.   
I needed some help getting this program to work with SSL. I contacted the makers of the app, who were near completion of an SSL version, and they bent over backwards to help me.   They were very professional and responsive.
I have tried other 5250 apps available for the iPad and iPhone, this one by far out preforms them, and has been much more functional.
