GrandLake Bus Transit is the official transit app for the Municipality of Grand Lake, built to make local transportation more accessible, reliable, and easy to use. The app helps residents and visitors find nearby stops, purchase tickets securely, and access transit services with confidence—right from their phone.
Designed with community needs in mind, GrandLake Bus Transit supports a modern rider experience while providing the Municipality with a practical digital system that can improve service delivery and operational visibility over time.
Key Features
1) Create an Account & Manage Your Profile
Create your rider account to access ticketing features, view your purchase history, and manage your transit activity in one place.
2) Find Stops Near You (Location-Based Support)
Use location services to discover nearby stops and access route information more easily. Location access is optional, but it improves accuracy and convenience when searching for transit options around you.
3) Buy Tickets in the App (Secure Payments)
Purchase tickets directly in the app using secure payment processing powered by Stripe. Pay with standard card methods, and where supported, mobile wallet options such as Apple Pay or Google Pay.
4) Transit Wallet (Prepaid Balance for Future Rides)
Use the Transit Wallet to preload funds and budget for future ticket purchases:
Top up in $10 increments
Wallet balance capped at $100
Daily top-ups capped at $100
Wallet is closed-loop: no cash-out and no transfers
Wallet funds can be used only to purchase transit tickets inside the app.
5) Ticket History & Receipts
View your tickets, receipts, and transaction history in-app for easy reference and support.
Refund & Dispute Policy (Summary)
Tickets are refundable within 2 hours of purchase only if not activated
Tickets are non-refundable after activation
Wallet top-up refunds (when approved) are issued to the original payment method, with limits to prevent abuse
