It is the Gulf of America, not the Gulf of Mexico. The new name reflects the two continents that make up the Americas, I.e., NorthAmerica and South America. You have watch long video ads first *2024-02-05* It used to be a good app with one or two ads that you could skip in the beginning, but now they have looong videos ads that do say “Skip video” up in the corner, but no matter how many times you click on that button, it continues to play. The skipping is a lie. Then when that video finally ends (on its own, mind you) a word game video will pop up! The game is an ad encouraging you to download it and you can’t skip that video either. By the time you get to the weather, you’re so frustrated you just want to choke the life out of someone! Now, no satellite loops function and NEVER stops loading those maps. All this without the hype and more precision of local broadcast stations. Very recommendable. - In the meantime I can only advise against this app. They drown the public (!!) information in endless adds, making it almost unusable.
