I have been using this for a while and I really like it and just as I was about to get the full version I noticed the price had doubled. Hopefully it goes on sale! Someone else pointed out the glaring error of the US 15% tip for great service. This was true 20+ years ago but out of date. I checked with search and ChatGPT on Italy and Spain tour guide tips and this app states that no tip or 2-3 euro is acceptable. Very glad I didn’t take this advice as anywhere from €5-10 per person is what is actually acceptable. Deleting this app as it doesn’t look like it is updated frequently enough to be of use to me. ### 2/5 — $4.99 to unlock the UK settings? *2017-10-02* Just another tipping app. The ability to use country specific settings automatically is nice for travelers but the price to unlock a country is unreasonable. **Developer response:** When you unlock the app you will get access to not only UK but for all countries, and you know how it is hard to collect information that could be useful for many users all over the world. Thanks. ### 2/5 — Tipping calculator *2016-04-29, version 1.2.3* Not much to this tips app, fairly basic ### 2/5 — SOME ENHANCEMENTS *2013-03-22, version 1.2.2* I already have a tip calculator but liked the fact that you included information about tipping in other countries. That reason is why I downloaded yours. But after downloading and playing around with your app I noticed you need to make three enhancements. Until then I won't delete my other app. 1) You need to allow all percentages for tips (i.e. 16%, 18%, 19%, 21% etc). 2) You also need to minus out the state tax. I may sound cheap but I don't tip on tax. 3) You also need a feature to round the TIP and TOTAL. Take a look at the "CheckPlease" app for these features I think you need to make your app a 5 star app. Thank you. ### 3/5 — Tip % needs more flexibility *2017-08-15* I like the look of this upgrade, however, the tipping percentages are only allowed in multiples of 5%. So I can either choose 15% or 20% when I may want to tip 17%. That feature in the old version was really nice. **Developer response:** We're launching new version with ability to do manual %. This seems like a glaring oversight. **Developer response:** There is a Tipping Guide at the bottom right corner.
